On Amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning the responsibility for the denial or justification of the crimes of fascism

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine:

1. Penal Code of Ukraine (Information of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, No. 25-26, pp. 131) complement Article 436-1 of this content:

" Article 436-1. Public denial or justification of the crimes of fascism, propaganda of neo-Nazi ideology, fabrication and (or) distribution of materials that justify the crimes of fascists and their supporters

Public denial or justification of the crimes of fascism against humanity committed during World War II, including crimes committed by the Waffen SS, subordinate to it by the structures, those who fought against the anti-Hitler coalition and collaborated with fascist occupiers, as well as the propaganda of neo-Nazi ideology, the manufacture and (or) distribution of materials that justify the crimes of fascists and their supporters,

It is punishable by a fine of five hundred to thousands of non-tax income minimums of income citizens or by limiting the will of two years, or by depriving the will of the same sentence. "

2. This Act will take effect from the day, the next in the day of its publication.
