On amendments and additions to the Code

Merchant Shipping Turkmenistan *

I. To introduce in the Merchant Shipping Code of Turkmenistan, approved by the Law of Turkmenistan of 23 October 2008 (Bulletin of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, 2008, № 4, Article 54, 2014, № 1, Article 49..), The following changes and additions:

1. In Article 7:

Part Three supplemented with the following paragraph:

"6) small vessels in the manner prescribed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.";

fourth part excluded.

2. The first part of Article 61 shall read as follows:

"1. In the case of a ship at sea, an offense under the criminal law of Turkmenistan, the captain of the ship serves as the body of inquiry, guided by the criminal procedural legislation of Turkmenistan. ".

3. In Article 75:

in the first part:

Paragraph 14 shall read as follows:

"14) the organization of the investigation of accidents and incidents at sea and keeping them into account;"

the last paragraph shall be deleted;

Add part as follows:

"2. The investigation of accidents and incidents at sea carried out in accordance with the Regulations, approved by the authorized body in the field of water transport. ".



II. This Law shall enter into force on the day of its official publication.
