Law No. 5641 Date: 2/5/2007 article 1 – 12 October 2004 in Nairobi, the "Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Republic of Kenya among the trade and economic cooperation Agreement" to be approved.
Article 2-this law comes into force the date of promulgation.

The GOVERNMENT of the REPUBLIC of TURKEY and the GOVERNMENT of the REPUBLIC of KENYA BETWEEN the Government of the Republic of Turkey, and TRADE and ECONOMIC COOPERATION AGREEMENT with the Government of the Republic of Kenya, (hereinafter referred to as "the Contracting Parties") on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries and increase the cooperation objective, economic and trade cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit, taking into account common interests in improving, have agreed the following: article I the Contracting Parties, in order to improve the commercial and economic co-operation between the countries of within the framework of their legislation in force shall take all appropriate measures.
ARTICLE II the Contracting Parties, the goods import and export between the two countries, (GATT/WTO obligations as appropriate), customs duties and other costs in relation to accord each other most-favored one country status.
The provisions of this Item, free trade zones, Customs Union, other regional agreements and made special arrangements with developing countries within the framework of border trade with already well-known or to be recognized in the future will not apply the advantages and privileges.
ARTICLE III of this agreement on economic and trade cooperation within the framework of the agreed implementation of projects related to the business of the two countries, will be signed between the enterprise or public institutions on the basis of contracts or arrangements will be made.
ARTICLE IV will be the exchange between the two countries, all payments to goods and services, in both countries the foreign exchange laws and regulations will be made by the free konvertibilitiye with currencies.
ARTICLE V the Contracting Parties, exhibitions, fairs and other business and organizations, to the extent possible, participate in the activities of the handle, as well as bilateral trade and will promote the realization of the visit and the businessman.
Each Contracting Party, other Contracting Parties national exhibition in his home country regulation will facilitate as much as possible.
ARTICLE VI the Contracting Parties, in accordance with the applicable national legislation, fairs, exhibitions, visits, seminars, commercial promotion activities for the purpose of temporarily imported goods and equipment, provided that they're not the subject commercial insurrections, decided to be kept exempt from customs taxes and pictures.
ARTICLE VII the Contracting Parties to increase mutual trade between the two countries and enhance economic cooperation, especially to diversify and related legislation and litigation, information about economic programs to facilitate and to step up trade and economic cooperation of the countries and companies and organizations decided to support contacts between.
ARTICLE VIII the Contracting Parties, to develop trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and to facilitate the establishment of a Mixed Economic Commission are agreed.
Mixed Economic Commission, this Agreement shall take the necessary measures for the successful implementation of credit and new economic cooperation fields.
Mixed Economic Commission, as necessary, required to set up the sub-committees to participate in expert meetings of the Commission and consultants will be able to invite. The Commission will report on the work of Altkomiteler.
Mixed Economic Commission, at the request of the Contracting Parties of any one, alternately in Turkey and will be collected in Kenya.
ARTICLE IX this agreement within the framework of the cooperation between the Contracting Parties the law in force in both countries, will be held in accordance with the statutes and regulations and will be compatible with the international obligations of the parties.
ARTICLE X this agreement with regard to the interpretation or application of the disputes that may arise between the Contracting Parties shall, without unreasonable delay in scene with mutual friendly consultations and negotiations will be solved.
ARTICLE XI of this Agreement, all of the correction and the changes to be made in writing, the Contracting Parties shall be ratified.
ARTICLE XII the Contracting Parties referred to in this agreement in accordance with the legislation, which will come into effect on the date of the check document ''.
This agreement will remain in full force and effect for a period of five (5) years and to end a1tı (6) months before the Contracting Party elects by written notice for termination unless notice, will be extended in one-year period of validity by itself.
After the expiration of this agreement, the provisions of this agreement and accordingly was settled under the provisions of the Covenant, any protocol, contract and pursuant to this agreement is undertaken or initiated time incomplete and will continue editing the current liabilities or projects. Those obligations or to the completion of projects will be maintained.
This agreement, the undersigned and their Government by duly authorized persons.
