Based on the provisions of the Constitution.

As approved by the People ' s Assembly at its 22-10-1437th meeting, on 277-2016, my birth.

Issue:

Article/1/

There is a Ministry in the Syrian Arab Republic, called the Ministry of Local Administration and the Environment.

Article 2

The words “Ministry of Local Administration and Environment” replace the words “Ministry of Local Administration” and “Ministry of State for Environment Affairs” and the words “Minister of Local Administration and Environment” replace the words “Minister of Local Administration” and “Minister of State for Environment Affairs” wherever they appear in the legislative and regulatory texts in force.

Article 3

The functions and competencies of the Ministry of Local Administration and the Environment were assumed by the Ministry of Local Administration and the Ministry of State for Environment under the legislation and regulations in force and are entrusted with the funds, rights and obligations of the two ministries.

Article 4

Public authorities who were associated with the ministries mentioned in article 2/ of this Act are associated with the Ministry of Local Administration and the Environment.

Article 5

The Ministry of Local Administration and the Ministry of State for the Environment are staffed by the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment. The Minister of Local Administration and the Environment distributes the permanent staff of the two ministries to the posts of common staff, retains their remuneration and provides them with qualifications for promotion, and the temporary workers, seasons, agents and contractors of the two ministries referred to continue with the same conditions and remuneration as those of the modern ministry.

Article 6

The Minister of Finance, in agreement with the Minister of Local Administration and the Environment, is authorized to standardize the unimplemented funds and revenues of the Ministry of Local Administration and the Ministry of State for the Environment specified in the State General Budget for 2016 under the name of appropriations and revenues of the Ministry of Local Administration and the Environment.

Article 7

The Minister of Local Administration and the Environment shall issue the instructions necessary to implement the provisions of this Act in agreement with the Minister of Finance.

Article 8

The provisions in contravention of this Act shall be repealed.

This law is published in the Official Gazette.
