Based on the provisions of the Constitution.

As approved by the People ' s Assembly at its 22-10-1437th meeting, on 277-2016, my birth.

Issue:

Article/1/

In the Syrian Arab Republic, there is a Ministry of Public Works and Housing.

Article 2

The words " Ministry of Public Works and Housing " replace the words " Ministry of Public Works " and " Ministry of Housing and Development " and the words " Minister of Public Works and Housing " replace the words " Minister of Public Works " and " Minister of Housing and Urban Development " wherever they appear in the legislation and regulations in force.

Article 3

The Ministry of Public Works and Housing performs the functions and competencies assumed by the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Housing and Development under the legislation and regulations in force and is responsible for the funds, rights and obligations of those ministries.

Article 4

The public authorities who were associated with the ministries mentioned in article 2/ of this Act are linked to the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.

Article 5

The Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Housing and Physical Development are staffed by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. The Minister of Public Works and Housing distributes the permanent staff of the two ministries to the posts of common staff, retains their remuneration and provides them with qualifications for promotion, and the temporary workers, seasons, agents and contractors of the two ministries referred to continue to have the same status and remuneration in the modern ministry.

Article 6

The Minister of Finance, in agreement with the Minister of Public Works and Housing, is authorized to consolidate the funds and unimplemented revenues of the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Housing and Physical Development, as set out in the State General Budget 2016, under the name of the appropriations and revenues of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.

Article 7

The Minister of Public Works and Housing shall issue the necessary instructions for the implementation of the provisions of this Act in agreement with the Minister of Finance.

Article 8

The provisions in contravention of this Act shall be repealed.

This law is published in the Official Gazette.
