Act 32 of 2007
Allow non-Syrian investors licensed investment entrepreneurs, which will be authorized in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 21 of 1958 to own, lease and invest land and real estate necessary to establish or expand their enterprises in industrial cities

On the basis of the provisions of the Constitution

As approved by the People ' s Assembly at its 19/11/1428th meeting, 29/11/2007.

Issue:

Article One.

a. Non-Syrian investors are allowed licensed investment entrepreneurs, which, according to Act No. 21 of 1958, will be authorized to own, lease and invest land and real estate necessary for the construction or expansion of their enterprises in industrial cities if the project is beyond the project ' s need for an area greater than the property limit specified in the laws and regulations in force, provided that they are used exclusively for the purposes of the project.

b. The provisions of Legislative Decree No. 57 of 2004, Legislative Decree No. 26 of 2003 and investment regulations in industrial cities apply to investors in industrial cities covered by the provisions of paragraph a.

c. The Syrian or non-Syrian investor in industrial cities, in the event of the abandonment of its project in favour of a non-Syrian investor, has the effect of obtaining the approval of the Industrial City Council and the Ministry of Industry for investors in industrial cities and a maximum of two years for the implementation of the said abandonment.

This law is published in the Official Gazette.
