Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held at the date of 12-6-1429 A.H., 16-16-2008

The following are issued:

Article 1

The employees of the employer who are covered by the law shall be granted insurance and pensions by legislative decrees 119 - 120, 1961. Their amendments are a one-year period starting from the first month following the date of the entry into force of this law to submit a request for annexation.

1. Temporary services provided for in article 60 of the Legislative Decree No. 119 of 1961 The amendments are contingent upon them.
2. Dispatch provided for in article 42 of Legislative Decree No. 70 of 22-9-1971 containing the Law on Scientific Missions and its amendments.
3. Services rendered in one of the public bodies, which were subject to the provisions of the Social Insurance Act No. 92 of 1959, are amended within the conditions stipulated in Legislative Decree No. 54 of 21-2-1971.
4. Services used in private schools, including closed schools, in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 13 and Legislative Decree No. 28 of 1972.
5. Teaching hours performed by those in charge of educational functions prior to appointment to the owners of a public office and within the conditions set forth in article II of Law No. 40 of 26-10-2000.

Article 2

a .. the working head workers subject to the provisions of Legislative Decree 119 and 120 of 1961 have the right to include their services covered by article 45 of Legislative Decree No. 119 of 1961 and article 20 of Legislative Decree No. 120 of 1961, within a one-year period starting from the first Month following the entry into force of this Act.
b. Within the time period specified in paragraph (a), a request for reimbursement of the dismissal provided for in articles 45 and 20 referred to above shall be allowed to add to the amount of compensation interest at a rate of 5 per cent annually from the date of acquisition to the date of performance and is entitled to the average amount at the same rate. Interest until installment ends.

Article 3

The union leaders and workers in the Baath Arab Socialist Party organizations and grassroots organizations, whose services were considered to be the actual services of the public bodies, are given the basis of article 14, paragraph d, of article 14 of the Convention. Basic Law for State Workers No. 50 Date of 6.12-2004, once referred to in article 1 of this Law, to request the inclusion of their services in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (d).

Article 4

(a) The officers of the internal security forces who are included in the law of officers issued by Legislative Decree No. 279 of 1969 shall grant a one-year period beginning as of the first month following the date of force of this Act to request the inclusion of the terms and services provided for in article VIII of the Act. This Legislative Decree
b .. The class of officers and members of the internal security forces covered by the Military Retirement Law promulgated by Legislative Decree No. 18 of 1950 and its amendments and the elements of the Customs Officer shall give the following lead times to request the inclusion of the periods and services provided for in article X of the Act. 1. One year period starting from the date of their professional service or return to the service for those who are subject to professional regulations.
2. One year's notice shall begin as of the first month following the date of the entry into force of this Act for non-appointees, who are not again assigned to be recognized in the preceding item 1.
c. Requests for inclusion of the service specified in this article shall be submitted to the ministries and departments to which they are subject.

Article 5

Workers at work and those covered by the Insurance and Pensions Act of the Cooperative Agricultural Bank shall be granted a one-year period commencing from the first month following the date of entry into force of this Law for the inclusion of periods and services that may be included in the Act.

Article 6

The proceeds from the inclusion of the services listed in Articles 1 and 5 of this Law shall be calculated on the basis of remuneration at the date of submission of the application.

Article 7

The Minister of Finance shall issue instructions containing the procedures for submitting applications for the service and documents necessary for them.

Article 8

This Act shall be published and shall be considered effective as of the first month following the date of its promulgation.
