Amendment to Act 29 of 2012 on the functioning of the banking profession
President
Based on the provisions of the Constitution, and as approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held in the history of 22-8-1434 A.H., 30-6-2013, my birth.
The following are issued:
Article 1
Amend article 1, paragraph 1, of the Convention. Law No. 29 of 2012 As follows:
- Any person who contravenes the provisions of article 7, paragraph 1, of this law and the exchange profession without a license shall be punished by temporary arrest for at least three years, no more than ten years, and the confiscation of the amounts seized in cash and any amounts listed in the paper or electronic restrictions, the names and the papers. which carries a financial value and a fine of three times the amounts confiscated at least 5 million Syrian pounds.
Article 2
Article No. 1, paragraph 1, of Act No. 29 of 2012 is amended in accordance with the following:
- Any violation of the provisions of paragraph B of this law shall be punishable by a fine of 300,000 Syrian pounds to 1 million and 500 thousand Syrian pounds.
- Any who contravenes the provisions of paragraph d of Article 7 of this Law shall be punished by a fine of one million and five hundred thousand Syrian pounds to 5 million Syrian pounds.
Article 3
Article No. 1, paragraph C, of Act No. 29 of 2012 is amended in accordance with the following:
- Taking account of the tear systems that are related to the limits of truncation and removal, all those who violate the provisions of paragraph c of Article 7 of this Law shall be punished by the transfer or transfer of foreign or national currencies between Syria and abroad without prior authorization for the temporary arrest from three to five years. Ten years and the confiscation of the amounts seized in cash and any amounts listed in paper-based or electronic restrictions, names and papers that carry a financial value, whether movable or converted, and a fine of three times the amounts confiscated, for not less than 5 million Syrian pounds.
Article 4
Amend paragraph No. 1 of Article 1 of Act No. 29 of 2012 According to the following:
g. The amounts seized under this article shall not be returned until after the dismissal of the proceedings and the acquisition of the judgement, and the money confiscated under the provisions of this article shall be transferred to the Central Bank of Syria as a civil compensation and shall be considered as income and the fines imposed by the provisions of this article shall be transferred to the Treasury. General.
Article 5
This Act is published in the Official Journal and is considered to be effective from the date of the day following its publication.
