Law 27 of 2013
Public sector institutions and companies are exempted from customs duties for their imports of basic foodstuffs.

President

Based on the provisions of the Constitution, and as approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 15 -2-1435 A.H. 1912-12-2013.

The following are issued:

Article 1

Public sector institutions and companies are exempted from customs duties (and other taxes and fees) for their imports of staple foodstuffs.

Article 2

The Prime Minister shall decide by decision of the institutions and companies of the public sector as well as the basic foodstuffs covered by the provisions of Article I of this Law.

Article 3

The exemptions established in this Act shall apply for a period of six months from the date of its entry into force and may be decided by the President of the Council, inter alia, to extend its provisions for a further period and other materials shall be covered by its content.

Article 4

This law is published in the Official Journal.
