Pause and Conditions of Teachers

President
Based on the Constitution
As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 31 December 1975,

The following are issued:

Article 1

On the basis of nomination by the selection committees formed by the Minister of Education for this purpose, the appointment of teachers to be appointed by the Minister of Education (Teacher in Primary Education) Teachers shall have the following conditions:

  1. to be holders of a public secondary certificate or equivalent.
  2. (i) The conditions for employment provided for in the Basic Law and its amendments are available, except for the conditions of the competition.
  3. The teaching profession in the official primary schools of the Syrian Arab Republic has been interrupted in an intermittent or continuous period of at least 500 days.
  4. To not be affiliated with a university or high or middle school.

Article 2

Under article 1 of the ninth grade, the current appointment is made by a decision of the Minister of Education and is subject to the exercise provided for in article 12 of the Basic Law on Staff and its amendments.

Article 3

a. The appointees under this Act are subject to a six-month training course established by the Ministry of Education in stages.

b. The stages, dates, curricula and other organizational matters pertaining to them shall be determined by the decision of the Minister of Education.

c. The successful in the course referred to in the course referred to as the Minister of Education, while retaining his or her acquired degree in his or her grade for the next level of promotion.

Article 4

This decree is published in the Official Journal.
