Based on the Constitution
As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on the date of 8-9-1424 A.H., 3-11-2003,
The following are issued:
Article 1 The expressions in the following shall mean the meanings set forth by each of them:

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers. |
Article 2 A public secretariat called "The Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers" has been chaired by the Cabinet. Directly associated with the Prime Minister.
Article 3 The Secretariat shall perform the following functions:
Article 4 The Secretariat shall consist of the following Directorates and Offices:
Where necessary, other offices and directorates may be established by decision of the Prime Minister.
Article 5 - The functions of directors and offices associated with the Secretariat, its work mechanism and the conditions of occupancy of its functions shall be determined in the rules of procedure of the Prime Minister's Cabinet, which is issued by decision of the Prime Minister.
Article 6 The Secretariat shall be headed by a Secretary-General appointed by decree and shall exercise the powers given to both the Minister and the Associate Minister under the provisions of the Basic Law for State Workers and shall assume the following functions:
Article 7 The Secretary-General shall have an associate or more called and shall be designated by a decision of the President of the Council on the proposal of the Secretary-General.
Article 8 With the approval of the President of the Council of Ministers, the Secretary-General may contract with the owners of the expertise required by the public interest.
Article 9. The Secretary-General shall treat the Minister's treatment with respect to the salary and compensation.
Article 10. The staff of the Cabinet Office shall be redeployed to directorates, Secretariat offices and other directorates and offices of the Cabinet, by decision of the Prime Minister and based on the Secretary-General's proposal for the Secretariat and keeping their functional status, remuneration and qualification To hyper.
Article 11 The owners of the Secretariat shall be issued by a subsequent decree, working with the current chairmanship of the Prime Minister.
Article 12 - The Prime Minister issues instructions for the implementation of this law.
Article 13 - All texts contrary to the provisions of this Act shall be repealed.
Article 14 - This law is published in the Official Journal.
