Law No. 45 of 2003
Support for sustainable development

The President of the Republic.

Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 5-11-1424 A.H., 28-12-2003,

The following are issued:

Article 1

The provisions of Law No. 45 /45 of 31-12-1976 are extended and amended until 31-12-2004. The denomination of the cash contribution imposed is amended to become the cash contribution to support sustainable development.

Article 2

Add to the end of section 2/2 of Article 89/Amendment of the Local Administration Act of Legislative Decree No. 15 /15 of 1971 the following phrase:

(The ratio of this addendum to the total tax and cash contribution in support of sustainable development is calculated)

Article 3

This Law is published in the Official Journal and operates with effect from 1-1-2004.
