Amendment of the statute of the Syrian Syrian Company for Maritime Navigation certified under Legislative Decree 4 of 2002

President

Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held at the date of 19-10-1426 A.H., 21-11-2005,

The following are issued:

Article 1
In addition to article 20 of the Statute of the Iraqi Maritime Organization, ratified by Legislative Decree No. 4 of 2002, the following paragraphs are as follows:

1- The company has to import:

a. Various ships to transport goods, cargo and passengers and their accessories, all of which are considered to be complimentary.

b. Field service vehicles, microbus and pick-up service for personnel and crew.

c. Materials and supplies related to the work of the entire company.

2- a. The importers of the company provided for in the preceding paragraph of this Law are exempt from the performance of taxes, fees and other financial burdens.

b. The company's profits are exempted from income taxes and property rent tax for a period of ten years from the date of its founding.

Article 2

This law is published in the Official Journal.
