Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on the date of -20-11-1426 A.H., 21-12-2005,

The following is issued:

Article / 1 /

The owners of the goods left and reserved in the Syrian ports of ports and the General Customs Directorate will be given a one-month period starting from the day after the issuance of this law to settle the conditions of their abandoned or reserved goods. If they do not settle, they are formed in the customs directorates of Damascus, Ladhiqiyah. Tartus, Aleppo, Homs, committees to strip and end the status of goods left and reserved in the warehouses of ports, customs and their fields, or which are owned by the customs minister, by a decree issued by the Minister of Finance. These committees include representatives of the relevant public bodies.

Article 2 /

a/These committees shall terminate the status of the goods described in Article 1 of this Law, whether by sale regardless of the economic and legal status of such goods or make the appropriate decision on them to destroy or re-export them.

(b) These committees shall make the sale of them in this article by auction and shall enjoy all the powers that fulfil their mission regardless of the legislation and the instructions in force in this regard.

Article 3 /

a/Buyer shall receive the goods exclusively from all customs, financial and municipal fees, expenses and port allowances, except for the fee.

B will be sold by customs officials in the governorates mentioned and transferred directly by them to the state treasury after the transfer of the storage fee due to the general company of the owner of the relationship.

Article 4 /

The committees in question are accountable to the Minister of Finance for the rest of their work to fulfill their mission.

Article 5 /

This Act shall operate with effect from the date of its enactment and for a period of one year.
