Amendment of Legislative Decree No. 42 of 2012 regulating the operation of medical laboratories

President

Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on the date of 18-2.1436 A.H., 10-12-2014, the following is issued:

Article 1

Amend article 25, paragraph (c), of the Legislative Decree No. 42 of 2012 Regulating the work of medical laboratories to be as follows:

" shall be punished by imprisonment from one year to three years, and a fine of 300,000 Syrian pounds to 500,000 Syrian pounds, every person who engages in laboratory work without the legal requirements to obtain a laboratory license, and closes the opposite place until his condition is settled and is sealed with red wax from The Minister shall be executed immediately through the Public Prosecutor's Office, and his or her materials, equipment and materials relating to the profession shall be confiscated by judicial judgement."

Article 2

This law is published in the Official Journal.
