Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on the date of 29-02-1436 A.H., 21-12-2014, my birth.

The following are issued:

Article 1

All persons with gold in possession of gold in the form of gold bars are required according to article 2 of this Law, which has not previously been authorized when entering the country and paying due fees to the settlement of the status of such alloys without the effect that such action would have any legal liability in accordance with this procedure. Instructions issued by the Central Bank of Syria in this regard.

Article 2

1. The raw gold material is intended for the application of the provisions of this raw gold gold alloy of 1 kg, half kg, 10 virgin, 66 t 116 Grama exclusively for 24 carats 995 and carries a serial number from the country of origin.
2. All other gold forms, including gold ounces of all weights and calibres, are considered to be occupied and are not subject to the provisions of this law.

Article 3

A financial fee of US$ 200,200 or equivalent in Syrian pounds shall be fulfilled for each kilogram or its parts of the raw gold material authorized in accordance with Article 1 of this Law.

Article 4

The financial fee referred to in article 3 of this Law is met by the Central Bank of Syria and, to the Central Treasury Account, is a different revenue item in the public budget.

Article 5

The raw gold material settled in accordance with the provisions of this Law shall be exempted from all duties, taxes and other additions contained in the laws and regulations in force.

Article 6

The provisions of this Law shall not apply to the raw gold material seized by the competent authorities in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.

Article 7

The Central Bank of Syria issues the executive instructions for this law.

Article 8

This Act shall be valid for six months from the date of its entry into force.

Article 9

This law is published in the Official Journal.
