On the basis of the provisions of the Constitution, as approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 7/3/1436 A.H., 29 December 2014, the following is issued:

Article 1

The following definitions shall mean the meaning given to each of them in applying the provisions of this Law:

a. Martyr:

1. Military martyr: military in the ranks of the Syrian Arab Army or the internal security forces.

2. The Civil Martyr: Every Arab Syrian citizen or in his ruling works for the Syrian Arab Army.

3. Martyr worker or employee: worker or employee of the state who was martyred while working or because of the employee.

That is, if any of the above was spent during war or war operations or by armed terrorist gangs, assassination, confrontation or the result of terrorist acts carried out by those gangs.

b. The martyr: the father, the mother, the wife, the children.

c. Persons with full disability: persons from the Syrian Arab Army, the internal security forces or those under the command of the Syrian Arab Army, officials or civil servants in the State who were injured during the war, war operations or terrorist acts in one case The following: "Brain paralysis, quadrilateral paralysis, migraines, total blindness."

Article 2

In accordance with article 1 of this Law, 50 % of the vacancies to be filled by public authorities in accordance with the provisions of the Basic Workers Act No. 50 of 2004 and its amendments shall be reserved for the families of the martyrs and in their judgement as contained in article 1 of this Law.

Article 3

The Executive Instructions for this Law shall be issued by decision of the Prime Minister on the proposal of the Ministers of Defense, Justice and Labor.

Article 4

This law is published in the Official Journal.
