1 This contract-type of work applies throughout Switzerland.
2 It governs the working relationship between doctors, undertakings, public or private establishments, commercial or public utilities, and their staff occupationally exposed to ionising radiation if it is not Insured against accidents in accordance with the Federal Act of 13 June 1911 1 Insurance in the event of sickness and accidents.
3 The persons mentioned in paragraph 31 of Appendix I of the order of 19 April 1963 are considered to be occupationally exposed to radiation 2 Concerning radiation protection.
Supervision by physical measures and the medical supervision of staff occupationally exposed to ionising radiation are governed by the order of 19 April 1963. 1 Concerning radiation protection.
1 The doctor, company or facility will insure staff against professional and non-professional accidents. The insurance against occupational accidents must include lesions attributable to ionising radiation with no limit on the duration of the later suites of the irradiations.
2 Must be provided at least the following insurance benefits:
3 A single person who has a maintenance obligation must inform the employer in writing on the day of entry into service.
4 The contributions of insurance against professional accidents are the responsibility of the employer and the insurance against non-occupational accidents at the expense of the staff.
