0.631.252.916.320.3 translation agreement between the Swiss federal Council, the Austrian federal Government and the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein concerning the establishment of offices to national juxtaposed controls concluded on 21 April 2008, entered into force may 1, 2008 (State on May 1, 2008) the Swiss federal Council, the Federal Austrian and the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein , see art. 1, al. 3, let. a, of the convention of September 2, 1963, between the Swiss Confederation and the Republic of Austria on the establishment of offices to national controls juxtaposed and controls in vehicles along the road, saw the Protocol of September 2, 1963, regarding the application to the Principality of Liechtenstein-Bartenstein of the convention Swiss, with final Protocol on the establishment of offices in juxtaposed national controls and controls in vehicles along the way mutual to promote cooperation between the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of Austria and the Principality of Liechtenstein (hereinafter referred to as "the Contracting States"), and to accelerate and simplify the control at the common border, have agreed to the following: art. 1 principle and goal to accelerate the control, the Contracting States agree to establish border austro-Liechtenstein national juxtaposed controls offices allowing actors of the international movement of people and cars don't stop once only for the needs of the control.
Contracting States to ensure that all authorities involved in control cultivate close cooperation and that all steps to ensure a quick check in the areas defined in art. 2 to 5 be taken and harmoni-sees the best possible.
Agents of the Contracting States affected national controls juxta-posed offices support each other in the cross-border traffic control to facilitate this control and simplify the passage of people across the border com-mune.
To support each other in the execution of their daily service, particularly when bodies in service, present at the scene and the third parties not involved are threatened or that their life is at risk, officials of the Contracting States are empowered to help each other, including in the facilities, buildings and facilities or parts of buildings that they are usually only to be used.

Art. 2 Nofels border crossing point - Ruggell offices juxtaposed national controls are created, in the territory of Liechtenstein, at the Nofels border crossing - Ruggell.

The area for the control includes: a. facilities used in common by the agents of the two States parties, namely: - a sector of the Noflerstrasse measuring 115 meters from the border guard on the bridge over the Hasabach in the direction of Ruggell - a strip of land of 2 metres wide around each of the two customs buildings, - parking spaces adjacent to the buildings of control;

b. control building located to the southeast of the Noflerstrasse, reserved for the exclusive use of Austrian agents.

Art. 3 Fresch Nofels border crossing point - Schellenberg of the offices to national juxtaposed controls are created in territory liberal-Genoa and Austrian territory, at the Fresch Nofels border crossing - Schellenberg.
The area for the control includes: a. for Austrian agents, the premises and facilities for the exclusive use of Austrian or used in common by these agents, namely: - control building, - all of the old customs road leading to the border. Western limit: place of cusp of postal automotive and parking spaces located below the restaurant Löwen (house number 5), at a place called Winkel of Hinterer Schellenberg, - places of stop and parking adjacent to the customs building.

b. for Swiss and Liechtenstein officials, facilities used in common or on an exclusive basis by officers of the States parties, namely:-a sector of the municipal road Feldkirch - Oberfresch, a length of 26 metres and a width of 4 metres, from the Austrian border in the direction of Feldkirch - Nofels, - control building and parking spaces adjacent to it.

Art. 4 point crossing Tosters - Mauren offices juxtaposed national controls are created, in Austrian territory, at the border crossing of Tosters - Mauren.
To the senses of the art. 4, al. 1, of the convention of September 2, 1963, the office of control Liechtenstein belongs to the commune of Mauren.
The zone for control includes: a. facilities and premises used in common by the agents of the States parties, namely:-a range of the road L 61 between the border and control building used in common, including the official site, - adjacent to control building parking spaces -, the local audit, a premise for social activities and health;

b. the offices reserved for the exclusive use of agents Swiss and Liechtenstein, located in the half southwest of the building.

Art. 5 border crossing point Tisis - grabs of the offices to national juxtaposed controls are created, in Austrian territory and territory of Liechtenstein, at the border crossing of Tisis - grabs.
The area for the control includes: a. for Austrian agents:-control building premises reserved for the exclusive use of Austrian or used in common by these officials, - the official site for the goods traffic surrounding the customs building Swiss, including space and surfaces used in the screening of travellers, - the range of the road number 234 between the border and the bifurcation of Heiligwies;

b. for Swiss and Liechtenstein agents:-premises used in common or on an exclusive basis by officers of the States parties, - the marquise (island of control) PL number 485 - control building, including the Liechtensteinerstrasse L 191 sector between the border, at 3.23 km, and the end of the parking place for heavy weight located the 3.10 km; In addition, places of parking and control surfaces lying in this area or adjacent to this area near the building of the Customs Office (PL number 242) and of the building (container - PL number 484) located north of the marquise of the control block.

Art. 6 entry into force and termination this agreement is effective the first day of the first month following the month during which the signing took place.
The Contracting States conclude agreement for an indefinite period. It may be terminated by each of the Contracting States, at any time, by the diplo-Matic way. In such a case, the agreement ceases to be in force 90 (nonantieme) day after receipt of the termination to the other Contracting State.
The application of this agreement may be suspended temporarily by each of the Contracting States, partially or totally, for reasons falling within the order, security or public health. Beforehand, the Contracting Parties inform each other of adoption and the repeal of such measures.
Except for a termination, this agreement loses its validity if the convention of September 2, 1963 juxtaposed the Swiss Confederation and the Republic of Austria on the establishment of offices to national controls and controls in vehicles along the way as well as the Protocol on 2 September 1963 on the application to the Principality of Liechtenstein of the Swiss convention with final Protocol on the establishment of offices in juxtaposed national controls and controls in vehicles along the way are no longer in force.
From the entry into force of this agreement, cease to be in force: a. on 24 May 2000 agreement between the Swiss federal Council, the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Austrian-dog federal Government concerning the establishment of offices to national controls juxtaposed to the Ruggell/Nofels border crossing; (b) the agreement of 24 May 2000 between the Swiss federal Council, the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Austrian-dog federal Government concerning the establishment of offices to national controls juxtaposed to the border crossing of Mauren/Tosters; (c) the agreement of 30 March, 7 April and 23 June 1993 between the Austrian federal Government, the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Swiss federal Council concerning the creation, at the border crossing road in Tisis/grabs, from offices to national controls juxtaposed for the traffic of goods.
