172.211.21 order on the information system to the VIP service (order SIVIP) of November 18, 2015 (Status January 1, 2016) the Swiss federal Council, saw the Act of 21 March 1997 on the Organization of Government and administration, stop: Section 1 provisions general art. 1 purpose this order sets the operation and use of the information system serving VIP (SIVIP) of the Protocol of the federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) within the Secretariat of State of the DFA.

Art. 6 documents any document seized business electronically can be saved in the SIVIP.

Art. 7 rights of treatment data are saved by foreign representations relevant for Switzerland, who may treat them as long as the application has not been approved or denied.
Insofar as requires it the performance of its tasks, the computer FDFA unit can process all of the data in the SIVIP.

The right of data processing is exercised through the procedure of access online.
