935.22 federal law encouraging innovation, cooperation and professionalism in the field of tourism from September 30, 2011 (status February 1, 2012) the Federal Assembly of the Swiss Confederation, view of art. 103 of the Constitution, given the message of the federal Council of February 23, 2011, stop: art. Within the limits of the appropriations, 1 object the Confederation may grant financial aid to encourage innovation, cooperation and professionalism in the field of tourism.
Art. 2 projects that can support the Confederation may support projects with the following aims: a. develop and implement new products, equipment or distribution channels; (b) to improve the quality of existing services; c. create competitive structures of organization allowing an efficiency gain; d. improving the training and development.
It concentrates most of the appropriations available on some major projects.
Art. 3 conditions to qualify for support, projects must meet the following conditions: a. contribute to the tourism competitiveness of the Switzerland; b. promote tourism development sustainable; c. create or maintain attractive jobs.
Projects supported by the Federal Government under para. 1 must also complete one of the following requirements: a. be national in scope or require coordination across the country; b. If they are regional or local, meet the criteria for the model projects of the Federal Government.
Projects must be planned and implemented on the basis of cooperation between companies.
Art. 4 load the projects must start within a period of six months from the grant of the financial aid.
Art. 5 terms of the financial assistance the Confederation may grant financial assistance covering 50% of the costs of a project. This financial assistance is allocated in the form of a flat-rate contribution.
When the promoters of a given project is eligible for several federal grants, financial assistance allocated by the Federal Government as a whole should not exceed 50% of the total cost.
Art. 6 procedure applications for financial assistance are to be sent to the Secretariat of State for the economy (SECO). It consults the cantons directly concerned. It may call on experts for the review of applications.
He decides the granting of financial aid after consultation with the Federal offices directly concerned.
Art. 7 information and assessment the SECO promotes the exchange of information in the field of tourism in general and on the projects in particular.
It ensures that these projects will make an evaluation.
Art. 8 financing the Federal Assembly sets every four years the credit commitment by simple federal decree.
Art. 9 report the federal Council shall report to the Federal Assembly on the use of financial resources.
Art. 10 execution the federal Council shall issue implementing provisions.
Art. 11 referendum and entry into force the present law is subject to the referendum.
The federal Council shall determine the date of entry into force.
