They are, however, applicable to vehicles with fixed tanks (tank-vehicles), demountable tanks, tank-containers, crates mobile tanks or portable tanks to battery-based vehicles and containers (CGEM) multiple elements gas. The exceptions are listed in annex 1.
Armoured wheeled or tracked with an edge or a 2.5 kg fire extinguisher extinguishing system at least are exempt from the obligation to be equipped with fire extinguishers in accordance with art. 114 of the OETV.

1502 when dangerous goods are transported in the same transport unit, the sum of the quantities of goods and dangerous items multiplied by the factor of annex 2, column 8, corresponding to these dangerous goods must not exceed the value of 1000 (free limit).

1503. the dangerous goods exempted according to the c. 1200 to 1401 are not taken into account in the calculation according to section 1502.

1504 when the quantity of dangerous goods on board a single transport unit does exceed not the value calculated according to section 1502, these goods may be carried in packages in one transport unit without can be applied the following schedule 1 requirements: a. c. 1601; b. Part 8, except c. 8101, 8106, 8110 to 8112 8205, 8301, 8303 and 8305 at 8403; c. part 9; d. part 10, table 10B.

1600 transport restrictions by the competent authorities in 1601 in tunnels equipped with signal "tunnel" (art. 45, para. 3, and annex 2, ch. 4.07, o sept 5. 1979 on road signs, OSR), vehicles carrying dangerous goods beyond the free limit must drive on the right lane.

1602 on some sections reported accordingly (annex 2, ch. 2.10.1 signal 'Circulation forbidden to vehicles carrying dangerous goods', 2.11 signal "traffic allowed to vehicles whose load can alter the waters', and art. 19, al. 1, OSR), vehicles carrying dangerous goods do not have the right to move, or can travel with restrictions. These sections and restrictions can be found in part 10, tables 10A and 10B as well as in annex 2 of this order.

1603. in duly motivated exceptional cases and in agreement with the competent civilian authorities, the OCRNA may grant a single permission to cross, with dangerous goods exceeding the prescribed limits, a tunnel in part 10, table 10B. If so, it may order specific operational measures (e.g. crossing at set times, crossing accompanied convoys or use of specific warning devices).

1700 1701 radioactive material transport military equipment containing radioactive material that can be transported as excepted packages in accordance with the SDR/ADR and the items approved by the federal Office of public health (FOPH) under art. 128 of the Ordinance of 22 June 1994 on radiation protection are not subject to the transport of class 7 of the SDR/ADR requirements.

Part 4 provisions relating to the use of packagings and tanks 4100 dangerous goods must be transported exclusively in the original approved packaging or order (cans, barrels, crates, bottles, pressure vessels, etc.) in which they have been delivered or made available for this purpose. The trash bags and bags with casings are not considered approved packaging. they can not be used for the return of unused ammunition.

4200. in derogation from the provisions of the CSD and ADR, tanks of kerosene (UN 1223 n) or jet fuel (UN 1863, GE III n) empty and uncleaned aircraft of the air force can be transported as follows: a. the capacity of each tank does not exceed 1500 l; b. the tanks are containers of cylindrical shape with a thickness of walls of 2-3 mm lightweight aluminum , with filling hole can be locked and change on top. In all cases, the transport unit must be reported at the front and at the rear by means of neutral orange panels as prescribed in para. 5.3.2.1.1 SDR/ADR;.: reference is made to the transport document: ' fuel tank for aircraft empty, last load: A 1223 Kerosene, 3, III, (D/E) dangerous for the environment ", or" fuel tank for aircraft empty, last load: A 1863 jet fuel, 3, III, (D/E) dangerous for the environment '.

All other requirements of the CSD and the ADR shall apply.

4300. in derogation from the provisions of ADR and the CSD, Mun-Loader F18 of Forces air amunitionnes can be transported as follows:

The tarp must bear the inscription "Overpack" on the two sides as well as the 1.2 danger label and the designation "UN0328 cartridges as WAFFEN, MIT INERTEM GESCHOSS/cartridges to PROJECTILE INERTE for weapons" or the danger 1.4C label and the designation 'UN0339 cartridges as WAFFEN, MIT INERTEM GESCHOSS/cartridges to PROJECTILE INERTE for weapons'; e. compressed gas cylinders (rated capacity of 33 litres each) containing the substance UN1066, nitrogen Tablet must be emptied. The valves must remain open, the warheads of the bottles must be fitted with a coating with the inscription "Flasche leer, Ventil offen/bottle empty, open valve". Compressed partially or entirely filled gas cylinders must be put away, their valves must be fitted with caps, and they must be transported in a manner safe in a vehicle separated; f. F18 amunitionnes Mun-Loader to be carried in sheeted or covered, cars marked with placards (cupboards) on the two sides and to the rear of the vehicle , in accordance with Chapter 5.3 SDR/ADR. All other requirements of the CSD and the ADR shall apply.

Part 5 5100 shipping Procedures anyone who ships dangerous goods is required to ensure that transport will be carried out in accordance with the requirements of this order, in particular with regard to packing, loading transit ban, the obligation to carry the written instructions and, if necessary, the transport document.

5203 A army, dangerous goods of class 1 can also be fitted with danger labels according to Chapter 5.2 SDR/ADR.

8107. the troop in military service, military personnel and specialized teachers who carry dangerous goods in packages beyond free limit are not required to carry personal protection equipment referred to in the instructions in writing.

8108 signs orange as the placards (closets) should only be affixed to transport units equipped with fixed tanks (tank-vehicles) and demountable tank-containers, crates mobile tanks or portable tanks and battery-vehicles and multiple items (CGEM) gas containers or in bulk.

8109. for the transport of dangerous goods in packages beyond the free limit, the orange must signs be affixed on all of the transport unit, provided that the latter has to. Derogations and exceptions are resolved by clause 8110.

In extraordinary situation or for the transport of ammunition subject to requirements of enhanced security (see ch. 8403 and the list of dangerous goods in annex 2, column 3, with a star), it is forbidden to affix a sign or a placard related to goods on the transport units.
In special circumstances, this decision rests with the body responsible for the commitment or the Commander, which will set under the rules of engagement and of behavior of the measures to be adopted according to the point of view of time, space and purpose.
Under normal circumstances, the Protection of information and objects may temporarily prohibit the traffic of dangerous goods on the transport units due to the situation of the threats and dangers (chap. 1.10 SDR/ADR; prevention of theft and improper uses).

These drivers receive instruction within the meaning of the provisions of Chapter 1.3 and 8.2 SDR/ADR.

8305. in case of incident, passengers are required to provide assistance to the driver.

8400 requirements for monitoring vehicles 8401 voluntarily stops and the parking of a vehicle loaded with dangerous goods are prohibited on public roads unless they are required by the transport (loading, unloading, control of vehicles or loading, breaks prescribed by law, bad weather conditions).
