857.51 Ordinance counseling centers in pregnancy on 12 December 1983, the Swiss federal Council, see article 3 of the Federal Act of 9 October 1981 on pregnancy counselling centres, stop: art. 1 organisation the cantons organise consultation centres in the field of pregnancy (hereinafter "centers") prescribed by the law.
They regulate the recognition of existing and new centres, their funding and their monitoring. They identify competent authorities.
They can entrust to the centres of tasks similar to that of the sexual information, marriage and family consultation centres, and vice versa.
Art. 2 publication the cantons publish without delay all recognition and, at the end of each year, a list of recognised centres, indicating the address, the phone number and hours of consultation.
They shall communicate that list to the federal Office of public health (hereinafter referred to as "federal Board").
The federal Office shall publish once year the comprehensive directory of recognised centres. He gives free of charge to centres, cantonal authorities and, on request, to other interested parties.
The name of the administrative unit has been adapted according to art. 4A of the O of 15 June 1998 on official publications (RS 170.512.1).
Art. 3 information to the federal authorities, the cantons also provide the federal Office: a. their legal provisions on centers; b. Any refusal of recognition; c. At the end of each year, the internal organization, in particular the composition of the team of specialists of all recognized centre, and an activity report.
Art. 4 final provisions the publications and information prescribed by this order will be for the first time at the end of 1984.
This order comes into force on January 1, 1984.
