857.5 Federal clinics for pregnancy on October 9, 1981 (Status January 1, 2011) the Federal Assembly of the Swiss Confederation, view the art. 34 and 64 of the constitution, the report of the commission of the national Council of August 27, 1979 and the opinion of the federal Council of 29 September 1980 on the parliamentary and cantonal initiatives on the interruption of pregnancy, stop: art. 1 pregnancy counseling centers, the persons directly concerned have right to free counselling and assistance.
They will be informed about private and public assistance on which they can rely to carry the pregnancy to term, on the consequences of an interruption and the prevention of pregnancy.
The cantons establish centres of consultation for all problems related to pregnancy. They can create transit, recognizing those that already exist and appeal to private organizations to ensure the layout and operation.
Consultation centres have staff and financial resources enabling them to grant without delay free consultations and assistance to interested people.
Art. 2 official secrecy and professional secrecy clinics employees and third parties whose services have been required are bound to secrecy in accordance with art. 320 or art. 321 of the criminal code (CP). Art. 321, ch. 3, CP (obligation to provide information and testify in court) is not applicable; bonds to testify under the code of criminal procedure of October 5, 2007 are reserved.
If someone gets the financial benefits by giving false information or by using fraudulent manoeuvres, the obligation to maintain secrecy on these facts is thrown.

Art. 3 provisions to prescribe by the federal Council after consultation with the cantons, the federal Council issues regulations concerning consultation centres.
Art. 4 referendum, implemented this Act is subject to optional referendum.
The federal Council shall determine the date of entry into force.
