Order of the OFAG on the Fixing of Periods and Time Limits and on the Authorization of Tariff Rate Quota of Fresh Vegetables, Fresh Fruit and Fresh Cut Flowers

Art. 1 1 Scope of application

This Order applies to fresh vegetables, frozen vegetables, fresh fruit and fresh cut flowers from tariff item numbers 13, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 set out in Schedule 3 of the Order of October 26, 2011. Agricultural imports 2 .

Art. 2 Periods reserved for import at the quota rate without the authorization of tariff quota parties

Periods set aside for import at the quota rate without the authorization of tariff quota parties under s. 4, para. 1, let. B, OIELFP, are set out in Annex 1.

Art. 3 Authorization of Tariff Rate Quota Parts

1 The authorization of tariff quota parties under s. 5, para. 1 and 3, let. B, OIELFP, is set out in Annex 2.

2 The authorization of tariff quota parties under s. 12, para. 3, and the marking scheme referred to in s. 14, para. 4, let. B, OIELFP are set out in Annex 3. 1

Art. 4 1 Time limits for communication of the benefit provided in favour of Swiss production

The entitled person communicates:

A.
Its performance in favour of Swiss production under Art. 6, para. 1, let. A, OIELFP, within the following time limits:
1.
On or before January 31 of the quota period for tomatoes, cucumbers, onions to plant and the Witloof chicory supported between 1 Er January and 31 December,
2. 2
No later than 31 January of the quota period for apples in charge between 1 Er September and 31 August;
B.
Its ownership, in favour of Swiss production, of Swiss fresh vegetables under Art. 11, para. 1, let. B, OIELFP no later than 15 October preceding the quota period.

Art. 5 1 Time to send purchase contracts

Procurement contracts referred to in s. 14, para. 4, let. B, OIELFP must reach the Federal Office of Agriculture no later than the last working day of March.

Art. 6 Repeal of the law in force

The OFAG Order of December 7, 1998, on the Determination of Periods and the Authorization of Tariff Rate Quota of Fresh Vegetables and Fresh Fruit 1 Is repealed.

Art. 7 Entry into force

This order shall enter into force on 1 Er March 2000.
