512.413 order of the DDPS training of the career NCOs of the Army (OISofCA) from December 7, 2015 (Status January 1, 2016) the federal Department of defence, protection, of the population and sports (DDPS) in agreement with the federal Department of finance, view of art. 115, let. a, of the order of 3 July 2001 on the staff of the Confederation, stop: art. 1 purpose this order regulates basic education and development of the career of army NCOs.
Art. 2 place of organization of education education is provided at the school of the Army (ESCA) career NCOs as well as of Swiss and foreign institutions.
Art. 3 admission the career NCOs, with the exception of candidates career NCOs, are admitted to the ESCA to follow courses and courses.
The following persons may be admitted to isolated courses: a. military personnel members; b. specialized teachers; c. the military foreigners, etd. the employees of partner organizations of the ESCA and the Federal Government, on the decision of the Commander of the ESCA.
The DDPS authorizes the admission of foreign military personnel in agreement with the federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
The Commander of the ESCA can exclude foreign soldiers of some courses for reasons of protection of information.
Art. 4 basic training course the course of basic training makes participants able to provide education as trainers, as well as to assume leadership and educational functions. The statement focuses on the initial assignment on the support for a wider range of tasks.
The course of basic training lasts 24 months.
Participants received a baccalaureate, professional or specialized maturity can do a basic training course shortened. This lasts fifteen months at the most.
The basic training course participants who have completed with success the latter receive a diploma signed by the head of the DDPS and the title of "NCO career with federal diploma.
Art. 5 stages of development developmental period 1 is used to prepare participants for the exercise of functions within the Group of commitment 3 (E3). The statement focuses on the functions performed during the assignment within the E3.
Developmental period 2 is used to prepare participants for the exercise of functions within the Group of commitment 4 (E4). The statement focuses on the functions performed during the assignment in the E4.
The head of the army can organize a training course 3 used to prepare participants for the exercise of functions within the Group of commitment 5 (E5). The statement focuses on the functions performed during the assignment in the E5.
Participants receive a certificate for each stage of development they have done successfully.
Art. 6 development courses courses are tailored to the needs and provide an opportunity to consolidate knowledge and to introduce new features.
They focus in particular on the following topics: a. training to become trainer; b. the promotion of skills and capability needs; c. languages, etd. the promotion of the physical skills.
Participants receive a certificate for each course of development they have done successfully.
Art. 7 federal patent of trainer/trainer the training during the course of basic training and refresher courses to become a trainer is certified according to the guidelines of the Swiss Federation for continuing training.
At the end of the statement, it is possible to take the final exam for the title of 'trainer/trainer with federal patent. "
Art. 8 implementing provisions the Army Chief issues directives regulating including the following aspects of training courses, classes and isolated courses: a. admission; (b) the organisation of training; c. evaluation procedures; d. the final examination; e. exclusion.
Art. 9 repeal of an act the order of the DDPS of 23 June 2005 on the career of army NCOs school is repealed.

Art. 10 transitional training courses and courses started before the entry into force of this order are governed by the Ordinance of the DDPS of 23 June 2005 on the career of army NCOs school.

Art. 11 entry into force this order comes into force on January 1, 2016.
