151.18 order on a draft pilot to financially support measures to promote equality between women and men in companies (Ordinance on a project pilot on financial aid LEg) March 7, 2008 (status as of 1 January 2009) the Swiss federal Council, acting pursuant to the law of 24 March 1995 on equality (LEg), stop: art. 1 goal the federal Bureau for equality between women and men (FOGE) launches a pilot project to assess the effectiveness of financial support to companies that implement internal measures to promote equality between women and men in life professional (programs).

S. 2 application companies interested in participating in the pilot project shall submit their request to the FOGE in deadlines. They join a detailed presentation of the program.

S. 3 conditions the program must meet the criteria set out in art. 14, al. 2, LEg.
The Confederation may affect financial aid in particular programs: a. which have concrete and lasting effects within the company; b. that can serve as a model to other companies, etc. which have potential multiplier effects in the company or beyond.

S. 4 directives the FOGE enacts guidelines for the presentation of the requests and makes forms available to the applicants.

S. 5 finance the Confederation may contribute, within the limits of the appropriations, the costs of selected programs.
Federal assistance presupposes the applicants own benefits. They must rise at least 50% of the costs.
If the aid claimed exceeds means at disposal, the federal Department of the Interior (DFI) enacts an order of priority.

S. 6 review of requests the FOGE examines the requests. It may appeal to external specialists.
It can match the funding conditions and loads, particularly in order to avoid possible distortions of competition.

S. 7 decision are authorised to decide the granting of financial assistance: a. the FOGE, for the aid up to 200,000 francs; b. the DFI, for aid exceeding 200,000 francs.

S. 8 program delivery responsibility for the implementation of the programmes to the undertakings concerned.
The FOGE oversees the implementation of the programmes. Companies regularly inform the FOGE on their program and establish his intention a final report no later than three months after the completion of the program.

S. 9 Evaluation the FOGE ensures that the effects of the financial aid granted to companies are assessed. It may appeal to external specialists.

S. 10 entry into force and duration of validity this order comes into force January 1, 2009 and has effect until December 31, 2016.
