941.16 federal decree approving the accession of the Switzerland to the new arrangements to borrow altered the international monetary fund from March 1, 2011 (State March 11, 2011) the Federal Assembly of the Swiss Confederation, view the art. 54, al. 1, and 166, al. 2, of the Constitution, given the message of the federal Council on September 8, 2010, stop: art. 1. membership of the Switzerland in the new arrangements to borrow modified (NAB) of the international monetary Fund (IMF) on April 12, 2010 is approved.
The federal Council is authorised to implement the Switzerland joined the NAB of the IMF. He decided before the expiry of each period of contract validity, and agreement with the Swiss National Bank (SNB), to extend the participation of the Switzerland or to put a stop.
The SNB participates in the NAB on the behalf of the Switzerland. She works closely with the Confederation in the implementation of the participation in the NAB. Details are regulated by an agreement between the federal Council and the SNB. The federal Council informed Parliament on the participation of Switzerland in the NAB.
The appropriations granted by the SNB under the NAB are not guaranteed by the Confederation.

Art. 2. upon entry into force of the NAB, this order replaces the federal decree of 18 December 1997 on the Switzerland's accession to the new arrangements to borrow from the international monetary fund.
