414.131.1 order with respect to the Military Academy at the ETH of Zurich (OACAMIL) of September 24, 2004 (status on December 19, 2006) the Swiss federal Council, view the art. 150, al. 1, of the Federal Act of 3 February 1995 on the army and military administration, stop: Section 1 provisions general art. 1 purpose this order sets the basic training, development and further training of officers at the Military Academy (ACAMIL) career.

Art. 2 Military Academy the ACAMIL is the Swiss centre of expertise for military sciences. She is an administrative unit of the command of the superior management training (cast) of the Federal Defence Department of defence, protection of the population and sports (DDPS).
The ACAMIL works with the ETH Zurich for the cycle of study leading to the degree of bachelor officer career, the course preparing for the master and postgrade studies.

Art. 3 organization of the statement the statement is provided to the ACAMIL and ETH Zurich as well as in external institutions and foreign.
The DDPS and ETH Zurich settle in a service agreement for the terms of collaboration and compensation for reciprocal benefits.

Art. 4 admission for career officers, the conditions of admission to the cycle of study leading to the degree of bachelor are governed by the order of 10 September 2002 on the admission at the Federal Polytechnic of Zurich.
The DDPS authorizes the admission of foreign military personnel to the instructions provided to the ACAMIL in agreement with the federal Department of Foreign Affairs.
The ACAMIL may exclude the participation of military foreign to some teachings.

Art. 8 training course leading to the degree the ACAMIL organizes the training course of one year the diploma for career officers who are already in possession of a university degree or a diploma recognized by the State of a specialized high school.
A diploma work and review closing the training leading to the diploma course. The diploma work can be replaced by an internship.

Art. military 8aEcoles the ACAMIL training of one year at the military school 1 for career officers having a federal certificate of capacity within the meaning of the Federal law of December 13, 2002 on vocational training.
The ACAMIL provides training of one year at the military school 2 for career officers who have successfully completed the 1 military school and who were hired as officers of career for three years at least.
Instruction in the schools 1 and 2 military includes the following areas: a. human conduct; b. Communications; c. strategy; security policy d. e. military history; f. military sociology; g. psychology and pedagogy military; h. specific military training; i. general informative education.

Military school 1 ends with a final exam, military school with a diploma work 2 and a final exam.

RS 412.10 art. 9 additional training and development the ACAMIL organizes additional courses for career officers.
The ACAMIL can organize courses for career officers.
The ACAMIL checks the knowledge and skills of students following the complementary training courses or compulsory refresher courses.

Art. Other training courses and courses the ACAMIL 10 may organize training courses and other courses.

Art. 11 participation to the teaching and counting of periods of study participation in all courses that are part of education is mandatory.
Absences must be authorized by the Director of the ACAMIL, except those that are due to normal development services.
For the counting of periods of study at the ETH Zurich, career officers are subject to the rules of this institution.

Art. 12 teaching staff teaching staff responsible for education at the ACAMIL includes: a. the Director and Deputy Director; b. permanent teachers of the ACAMIL; c. assistants; d. training commanders and teachers specialized in the ACAMIL.

Before the appointment of teachers, the ACAMIL consult with the ETH Zurich.
ETH Zurich takes into account the ACAMIL faculty when she gives lessons in the field of military sciences.
The ACAMIL can regularly appeal to other speakers for teaching.

Art. 13 disciplinary law, criminal law and disciplinary law in cases related to school, career officers are subject to the disciplinary law of the ETH Zurich for education in this institution. The military criminal law, military disciplinary law and disciplinary law under the law of the staff of the Confederation are reserved.

Section 3 degrees and certificates art. 14. students having successfully completed the cycle of study leading to the degree of bachelor of career officer receive a diploma bearing the words "Bachelor of Arts EPF in political science" and career officer federal diploma signed by the Army Chief and the Director of the ACAMIL.
Students who had successfully completed the training course leading to the degree or 2 military school receive the federal diploma for officer career signed by the Army Chief and the Director of the ACAMIL.
For other courses of training and courses, the Director of the ACAMIL can give certificates.

Section 4 provisions final art. 15 execution the DDPS enacts the necessary implementing provisions.

Art. 16 repeal of the law in force the order of 19 May 1993 on superior military school is repealed.
