section 1 of the mark referred to in this regulation such stamping
provided for in the Convention on the control and marking of works of
the precious metal, which was signed at Vienna on 15 november 1972.
Marking consists of tillverkarstämpel, the fineness mark, the
Control Agency's identity stamps and common hallmark.

1 a of the Swedish Board for accreditation and monitoring reports
the bodies will be Swedish control agencies in accordance with

Fineness mark consists of figures showing labour minimum
fineness in parts per thousand.
A control agency's identity stamps consist of three crowns in a
rectangular shield, accompanied by the control agency's identification number
in the Swedish Board for accreditation and technical control. For
such work referred to in paragraph 1 of the law (1999:779) on trade in
articles of precious metal, the latter's identity stamps consist of
Control Agency's hallmark under the Regulation (1999:780)

Common hallmark consists of an image in relief of a
balance scales with figures on a lined background within a framework that
by its form indicates the precious metal's art. The figures show
labour minimum fineness in parts per thousand. Regulation (1999:781).
section 3 of The control agency shall upon request provide a work
referred to in paragraph 1 of the law (1999:779) on trade in articles of precious metal
with common hallmark, about the requirements for this are met.
A control agency shall, on request, provide to other works of
Gold or silver than that referred to in the first paragraph with a common
Hallmark, about the requirements for this are met. Regulation

4 section a work of gold or Platinum that are equipped with
labelling need not bear the stamps according to the law
(1999:779) on trade in articles of precious metal. Regulation
(1999:781).
section 5 was repealed by Regulation (1988:914).
section 6 of the Swedish Board for accreditation and technical control,
perform control tests on works of gold, silver or Platinum
who bears the common hallmark. Regulation

section 7 of the Swedish Board for accreditation and technical control, after
consultation with the national financial management authority provide for
fees for the use of identity stamps. Regulation

section 8 After health marking shall not tillverkarstämpel or
fineness Mark altered or erased or stamp
assigned to work in the form of embossing press.
Anyone who willfully violates the first subparagraph shall be liable to a fine,
unless the Act is punishable by penalties in the Penal Code.

Transitional provisions

1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2000.
2. Until such time as such accredited bodies referred to in paragraph 1 (a)
has been notified, the corresponding tasks carried out by the Swedish
Test and Research Institute Corporation, notwithstanding that
