section 1 of the law provides that
compensation for someone's appearance in the case or cases to the
courts or other authorities shall be borne by the General
under rules the Government announces, is calculated
compensation under this regulation.
The compensation may refer to the necessary costs for travel
(travel allowance) and subsistence (daily allowance) and compensation
for mistad income or other financial loss (compensation
for time lost).

prior to the cancellation or ends after 8 am the day after
the cancellation, if the trip had been made with a cheaper
transport in regular service,
2. If it is cheaper to travel by air, while also
take into account any per diems and allowances for
loss of time, or
3. If there are special reasons to use air.
Cost of travel by taxi is replaced, if the trip is made on a
route not served by transport in regular service
or if it becomes cheaper to travel by taxi, when even
take into account any allowances or reimbursements for
loss of time. If there are special reasons, the taxi cost
replaced in other cases.
If traveling by plane or taxi is not replaced by other and
third subparagraphs, shall be paid compensation with the amount corresponding to
the cost of that journey with such equipment on a regular
traffic referred to in the first subparagraph.

mentioned in this paragraph or had the cost of the parking fee
or tax under the Act (2004:629) about the congestion charge, paid
replacement with reasonable amount. Regulation (2007:637).

(1979:594) on the compensation of witnesses, etc., and the Regulation (1975:298)

to apply.
2. a regulation refers to a regulation that has been replaced by a
provision of this Regulation apply instead the new provision.

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 March 1995. The provisions of section 6 of the
the first subparagraph of paragraph 4 shall apply also in the case of parents/guardians to be
be heard according to article 9 of the Act (1964:167) with special provisions for young
offenders as amended before 1 March 1995.

1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 december 1997.
2. Older provisions still apply for legal aid has
granted under the Act (1972:429).
