General provisions

What's in this Regulation apply to governmental authorities
Archive shall extend to the archive of
1. the authorities and bodies referred to in section 2 of the Archives Act

as regards public documents, and
3. Swedish Church and its organizational parts in case of

section 11 of the national archives may, unless the Government provides otherwise, inform
rules for the application of the governmental authorities of the archives
1. use of stationery and storage medium,
2. archive services, such as
--how the file is to be organised for the right to take part of the General
documents should be facilitated,
--archival description,
-archives list
-protection of the archive,
-limitation of the library,
--Executive of thinning,
3. the handing over of the entire archive or parts thereof to another
authority or to an archive authority,
4. return of documents.
section 12 of the national archives may provide for thinning.

section 14 of the State authorities may cull General documents
only in accordance with regulations or decisions by the national archives,
unless special screening regulations can be found in law or

15 § the national archives for government agencies and bodies

When the records be handed over to the national archives

Transitional provisions
2015:606
1. This Regulation shall enter into force on the 1 January 2016.
2. Older regulations is applicable until 31 december 2016 for individual body which holds public documents on the basis of a decision on transferring and storage taken prior to the entry into force.
