General provisions
Article 1 this regulation lays down provisions on the protection of
areas under Chapter 7. the environmental code. The regulation is also available

Marine scientific research
section 14 of the Marine scientific research may not be conducted within
Swedish territorial waters from research vessels

Special protected areas
section 15 of the environmental protection agency shall keep the list of
natural areas referred to in Chapter 7. paragraph 27 of the environmental code.

2. proposed to be included in the European network of such
special areas of conservation, Natura 2000, as referred to in Council
Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of
natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora, as last amended by
Council Directive 2006/105/EC,
3. decided to be included in the list because of
the European Commission launched a consultation procedure

With the conservation status of a natural habitat means the sum of the
influences acting on a natural habitat and its typical species
that may affect its long-term natural distribution,
structure and functions as well as the long-term survival of its typical species

(2010:900) shall apply to decisions to grant permits or
advance notice in case of activities or measures that can
affect the environment in a natural area as referred to in Chapter 7. section 27
first subparagraph 1 or 2 environmental code. Regulation (2011:371).
section 19 authorities announce a decision which may affect the environment
in a natural area as referred to in Chapter 7. 27 paragraph 1
or 2 environmental code shall in particular ensure that a favourable
the conservation status is maintained for the habitats and species

Compensation and redemption

Appeal
section 40 of the environmental protection agency, national heritage Board, the Swedish forest Agency

sections 21 and 22 and the Coast Guard's decision under section 14,

Penalties and forfeiture
42 section in chapter 29. Environment Act lays down rules on the penalties and
confiscation.
Transitional provisions
1998:1252
1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 1999,
Conservation Ordinance (1976:484) shall cease to apply.
2. A management plan that has been established with the support of the elderly

Habitat protection areas referred to in paragraph 5 of the
1. Avenue
Deciduous trees planted in a single or double line made up of
at least five trees along a road or what constituted a

5. Small water and wetlands into agricultural land
A small water or wetland with an area of less than one hectare
in agricultural land constantly or during much of the year
keeps surface water or a damp ground such as swamps, ponds,
wetting, översilningsmarker, cold springs, märgelgravar, open
ditches, ponds and up to two meter wide natural Brook furrows.
Area restriction does not apply to linear elements that open ditches
or not more than two metres wide natural Brook furrows. Ponds, landscaped
for irrigation purposes not included in this biotope.
6. Stone Wall in farmland
Building up on each other placed stones that have a clear,
elongated design in nature and who have or have had
hägnadsfunktion or as a function to delimit
agricultural plots or any other function.
7. Åkerholme
An islet of natural or cultural land with an area of not more than 0.5
hectares surrounded by farmland or cultivated pasturage.
