General provisions
section 1 of this Act apply to such allmänfarliga animal diseases
be spread by contagion among animal or from animal to human
(epizootic diseases).

vehicles,
9. restrictions or other terms in relation to transport or
other handling of live and dead animals, animal products,
other goods, waste and other materials,
10. registration or record-keeping of animal transport,
live and dead animals, animal products and other goods,
waste and other materials,
11. documentation regarding visits to a facility where animals
are kept,
12. disposal of pests that spread the infection,
13. methods of sampling and analysis,
14. the obligation to provide information to the Agriculture Department that can
play a role in preventing or combating
epizootic diseases,
15. other measures to be implemented as a result of the decision of
The European Commission, or which is otherwise necessary.

1. holders of such slaughterhouse facilities or
processing plants which are addressed under public
control set facilities and equipment available for
such slaughter or killing referred to in section 8 1 and 2 or for

Obligation to provide assistance

Compensation

Penalty provisions, etc.

Transitional provisions
1999:657
