paragraph 1 of this regulation regulates producers ' obligation to

take care of waste electrical and

electronic products which make up light bulbs or constitute

lighting fixtures manufactured for use in

households, to inform them of their responsibilities, to provide information

relating to the products and to consult on the obligations

full disclosure.



Rules on producer responsibility for electric and

electronic products can be found in Regulation (2008:834) if

producer responsibility for batteries and Regulation (2014:1075) if

producer responsibility for electrical equipment.



This regulation is notified pursuant



— Chapter 15. section 6 of the environmental code in terms of §§ 5-9,



— Chapter 15. section 7 of the environmental code in terms of 10, 11 and 13 to 15 sections,



– Chapter 8. section 11 of the Constitution in terms of section 12, and



– Chapter 8. section 7 of the Constitution in the case of other

provisions. Regulation (2015:24).



Definitions



2 section With electrical and electronic products referred to in this

Regulation



1. products in its design and for the correct operation

is dependent on electric currents or electromagnetic

fields,



2. equipment for the generation, transfer and measurement of

electric currents or electromagnetic fields,



3. materials provided or have been included in such products or

equipment referred to in 1 and 2.



An enhancement to or a consumable item used in a

electrical or electronic device is an electrical or

electronic product under this regulation, only if the

accessory or consumable goods have or have had a

electrical or electronic function.

Scope of application

Obligation to take care of the electrical and electronic products



§ 5, A producer shall receive free of charge an electric

or electronic product



1. be given to producers in connection with the producer sells

an electrical or electronic product, and



2. in normal use substantially fills the same function as the

data on the performance of their obligations under this

Penalty provisions

Supervision and fees

The annex has been repealed by Regulation (2005:210).
