The Government provides.
Introductory provisions
section 1 of this Regulation shall apply to the selection of electors, and
electoral assemblies election of members to the boards of

Choice of electors
Constituencies
4 § election of electors shall be prepared and conducted within the
constituencies as set out in the annex to this regulation. Within
each constituency is responsible below the specified University to choice

The right to vote
section 5 entitled to vote in an electoral college election is the one that
1. is a professor at a university or College,
2. are other teachers at a university or College, if
for employment requires PhD or equivalent
scientific competence,
3. have a job that primarily relate to research at
National Institute for working life, or the Swedish Institute of space physics, or
4. working in an institution of higher education in accordance with the provisions of
Regulation (1986:364) on positions at research councils.
In addition, the right to vote on 1 January 1999 had a

At the Swedish University of agricultural sciences is the people
persons entitled to vote, as under Chapter 3. section 2 of the Ordinance (1993:221)
for the Swedish University of agricultural sciences are entitled to vote at the election of the
members of the Faculty Board. In order for a person to be
entitled to vote is also required that at least 40 percent of his
or her work are within the scope of the
Research advice or advice regarding the choice of topic.
section 6 of the Board of Directors of each university or college and
the boards of Directors of the Institute and the Institute for working life
space physics determines which persons according to § 5 shall be
persons entitled to vote.

§ 8 The electors included in the electoral Assembly of the
the Swedish Council for working life and Social Affairs shall be selected

Eligibility

Electoral ward

before the election, draw up proposals for members of the Board of

Transitional provisions
2000:654
This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 August 2000 and applies to
until 31 december 2000. The regulation repeals
Regulation (1979:728) if the electoral Assembly at
Research Councils.
