1 Cape. Introductory provisions
Provisions relating to student financial aid
paragraph 1 of the Basic provisions relating to student financial aid, see
study support Act (1999:1395).
For the purposes of this regulation, there are detailed provisions concerning the
financial aid for students. It provides for
-study guides in Chapter 2,
-study in Chapter 3,
-repayment of student loans in Chapter 4,
-recovery of financial aid for students in the chapter 5.,
-student financial aid in General in Chapter 6.
In accordance with what the Government decides, additional
provisions relating to student financial aid announced by Central
student aid or any other authority.
Decisions about which courses can provide financial aid for students
section 2 of the Government determines at which educational institutions and
courses that students can receive financial aid for students.
Educational institutions and programmes set out in the annex to this
Regulation.
There are special provisions for studies abroad in 2
Cape. 15-17 sections and Chapter 3. 20 – 25 (b) § § and on some training courses
of the Regulation (2013:871) on support for the arts and
culture courses and some other courses.
Regulation (2015:509).
Individual training providers
section 3 For education in Sweden in any other single
providers of education than a folk high school or an independent
schools notified decision according to paragraph 2(1) after
the application of the education provider. Before any decision is taken, the

be included in a degree that education provider may issue with support
of the Act (1993:792) for permission to issue certain degrees
or by the Government is deemed to be equal to an education that can be included
in a college degree.
An application can be accepted also in other cases. However, this does

1. is under State supervision,
2. comply with the quality requirements that apply to other
courses at the corresponding level, where students can get
financial aid for students,
3. is valuable from a national point of view,
4. is free of charge for the students or associated with fees
as deemed appropriate, and
5. the commitment of the education can be followed up and
evaluated.
An application can be accepted only if there are appropriations.

Chapter 2. Learning Essentials
Who can get study guides
Training
1 § study guides may be given to students at educational institutions
and training specified in section A of the annex to this
Regulation.
There are special provisions for studies abroad in
15-17 sections. Regulation (2007:643).

Other extensions may be given to students at
other educational institutions and training than those of
school system and has public Chief in accordance with the Education Act
(2010:800). It may also be provided for attendance at training courses
with public Chief of the school system, if the student
is international Swedish or participating in preparatory educated as
in elementary school.
Other extensions may in addition to what is stated in paragraph 1 of the left

Other extensions may be granted to students in other educational institutions and training than those in the school system and has public Chief in accordance with the Education Act (2010:800). It may also be granted for studies at the training sessions with public Chief of the school system, if the student is participating in Swedish abroad or preparatory educated as in elementary school.
Other extensions may except as provided in § 1 is provided to students 1. in primary education in any of grades 7 to 9 of the school system, if the student is abroad, Swedish, 2. for a stand-alone high school, or 3 särskola. at a high school principal, särskola public if the student is Swedish abroad.

Study guides for study abroad
Studies in a country within the Nordic region

16 § study guides may be provided for studies in a country outside

Study guides for disease
section 18 of the 19 and 20 sections, there are provisions for Learning Essentials for
time when a student due to illness is completely unable to
pursue their studies.
For the purposes of section 19
nursing period: time when a student because of sickness continuously
have been unable to pursue their studies,
study time: the part of a six-month period during which a student
conducts studies and the part of the calendar half-year during which the
students would have conducted studies if he or she does not
had become ill.

Payment
31 § study guides may be paid only if it is satisfied that the

3 Cape. Student aid
Who can get student aid
Training

educational institutions and training as set out in the annex to this
Regulation.

Calculation of student aid

development guarantee under the Regulation (2007:414) on job-
and development guarantee,
2. the studies carried out on basic or secondary level
within municipal adult education or equivalent education in
folk high school, and
3. the student have not engaged in studies of student financial aid
in the last six months prior to the study, which can provide
the right to the higher amount of the grant begins.
The higher the amount of the refund may be made until the
students receive final grades from municipal adult education on
basic level, high school diploma from municipal
adult education at secondary level or student assessment from
folk high school.

resources and in the order in which applications are received

additional teacher education leading to

Additional contribution
11 a § Supplementary premiums referred to in Chapter 3. 13 a and 13 b of the
study support Act (1999:1395) in full-time study is left with
an amount for each week is
1.0.33% of the price base amount for the first child,
2.0.21% of the price base amount for the second child, and
3.0.11% of the price base amount per child from the

11 (b) § Supplementary premiums referred to in Chapter 3. 13 a and 13 b of the
study support Act (1999:1395) in studies of at least 75
% but less than 100 per cent of full time left with a
amount for each week is
1.0.25% of the price base amount for the first child,
2.0.16% of the price base amount for the second child, and
3.0.08% of the price base amount per child from the
third child. Regulation (2012:967).
11 c § Supplementary premiums referred to in Chapter 3. 13 a and 13 b of the
study support Act (1999:1395) in studies of at least 50
% but less than 75 per cent of full time left with a
amount for each week is
1.0.16% of the price base amount for the first child,
2.0.11% of the price base amount for the second child, and
3.0.06% of the price base amount per child from the

11 (d) § When both parents studying and residing on
various addresses the additional premium provided for in Chapter 3. 13 (a) and

1.3.2% of the price base amount for full-time study,
2.2.4% of the price base amount for studies of at least 75
% but less than 100 per cent of full time, and
3.1.6% of the price base amount for studies of at least 50
% but less than 75% of full time.

13 c § Merkostnads loans for tuition fees may be
with a higher amount than that specified in 13 (b) section, if the fee
refers to studies at a training lasting for at least 13
weeks of full-time study or, in the case of part-time studies, at least
the number of weeks corresponding to 13 weeks full-time studies.

6. The borrower shall send information to the Central
student aid if the foreign tax decisions referred to
in point 14 of the entry into force and transitional provisions
to study support Act (1999:1395). Central
student aid may provide for the
conditions that should apply in determining
the yearly amount when taxation not mainly takes place in
Sweden or there is reason to believe that it does not
primarily here under point 14 of the entry into force-
and transitional arrangements to study support Act.

7. If a borrower has made payments on an annual amount
fixed at 1/20th of the residual indebtedness

The higher the amount of the grant

Studies at the educational institutions and training courses provided for in
section A 1 and A 3 can give the right to cancellation of
student loans (see Chapter 4, section 9).
