section 1 of this Regulation shall apply for the purposes of the law

(2000:1219) about international customs cooperation.



Terms and expressions used in this regulation has the same

meaning as in the Act on international customs cooperation.



section 2 of the written request for assistance as referred to in Chapter 2. section 2 of the Act

(2000:1219) about international customs cooperation shall be transferred in the

electronic form or by fax.



section 3 of the customs or other competent Swedish authority may without

obstacles of 33 § personal data Act (1998:204) transferring

personal data to third countries, if necessary, to

fulfil the obligations arising from the agreement referred to in

Chapter 1. 1 paragraph Act (2000:1219) for international

Customs cooperation.



section 4 of the ongoing investigation in Sweden in respect of a person who

are the subject of cross-border surveillance or

cross-border hot pursuit in accordance with Chapter 3. § 1 and 2

Act (2000:1219) about international customs cooperation,

Customs Service or other competent Swedish authority shall consult with

investigating the leader before making a decision about the consent to

surveillance or pursuit into Sweden.



Customs Service or other competent Swedish authority shall further

consult with the military before making a decision about the consent to

cross-border surveillance or cross-border

pursuit in accordance with Chapter 3. 1 and paragraph 2 of the law on

international customs cooperation, the foreign officials

using Government ships or State aircraft.



Where the customs authority or other competent authority receives a

notification of cross-border surveillance or request for

cross-border hot pursuit in accordance with Chapter 3. Article 1, second paragraph

the respective paragraph 2(2) of the law on international

Customs cooperation, the authority shall forthwith inform the
