Introductory provisions
section 1 of this Regulation shall apply to the fees payable for
governmental authorities and local government costs for
1. public scrutiny, examination and registration under
the Food Act (2006:804), the rules of which have been notified to the
with the support of the law and the EU provisions are complemented by
the law,
2. official controls, verification that the product specification
followed prior to the placing on the market, follow-up
control of producers of wine, as well as the handling of
applications for registration, change of product specification
and deregistration pursuant to lagen (2009:1424) on the control of
protected names on agricultural products and foodstuffs, the
regulations issued pursuant to the Act and the
EU rules as supplemented by law,
3. the official controls of organic production methods referred to
the first paragraph in section 2 of the Act (2013:363) on the control of
organic production except for feed, and
4. consideration of cases in accordance with the European regulations referred to in
section 1 of the Act on the control of organic production or the
regulations issued under the law.
Regulations on fees for ecological control relating to
the feed can be found in Regulation (2006:1165) on charges for
official controls of feed and animal by-products.
Regulation (2013:1060).

Annual inspection fee
3 § control government expenses for other public
control of food and organic production than that
referred to in article 28 of regulation
(EC) No 882/2004 of 29 april 2004 on official controls
performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and
food law, animal health and
animal welfare, should be covered by an annual fee. However, this does
not a control government expenses for official controls
of food businesses in the primary production of foodstuffs for human consumption, or
a control Government costs of such control of a
food facility that may be carried out according to § 25 a
Food Regulation (2006:813).
Charges for the official control of the cutting plants
may, however, be covered partly by an annual fee, and
staffing fee charged under section 18. For the public
inspection of slaughterhouses and game-handling establishments may, in

staffing fee is levied under section 18.
The provisions of the first subparagraph involves the obligation of a
municipality to levy an annual fee to cover municipal

production

Transitional provisions
2006:1166
1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 december 2006.
2. The regulation repeals Regulation (1989:1110) if
fee for food supervision, with the limitations
paragraphs 3, 4 and 6.
3. Older rules may be applied to the end of
2006.
4. If the total of charges levied by a State
control authority to cover the annual control of an activity
for the year 2007, is amended by this regulation, without
the business has changed, the fee paid by the amount
that is the lowest of the amounts arising out of this regulation and
older regulations.
5. If a municipality's decisions on annual inspection fee for the contribution year
2007 based on a tariff which has been decided after the end of
in 2006, the levy shall be equal to the portion of the fee charged on
the remainder of the year then the rate in force.
What is said in the first paragraph also applies to a municipality's fee for
approval of an establishment.
6. Older regulations apply in respect of charges
adopted before the entry into force of this regulation.
