The financial supervisory authority has, by virtue of section 2 of the Royal Decree (1967:667)
with detailed rules for the application of the law (1967:663) on supplements
to certain traffic annuities and section 2 of the Regulation (2003:832) if
value hedge of certain compensation annuities, decided to amend
of certain annuities as follows.
1. Annuity prompted by an event that occurred prior to
end of 1973:
a) Traffic annuity shall be increased by 1.51% (cf. SFS 1967:663).
b) Injury annuity paid for with Government funds increased by 1.51
per cent (cf. SFS 1971:14).
c) Other liability annuity than that specified in 1(a) and (b),
both have been established before 1 January 2004, increased by five
per cent (cf. SFS 1973:214). Such an annuity established
on 1 January 2004 or later increased with 1.51 percent.
2. Annuities prompted by an event that has occurred
After the end of the year in 1973, and have established before 1
January 2004:
a) Injury annuity under the Act (1973:213) amending
tort annuities shall be increased by five per cent. The increase also applies to
annuity in accordance with the same law established by dom 1
January 2004 or later, if the judgment at first instance have
given before 1 January 2004.
b) those mentioned in 2(a) shall according to section 9 traffic damage Act
(1975:1410) also apply in relation to
trafikskade compensation.
3. Annuities prompted by an event that has occurred
After the end of the year in 1973 and have been established on 1 January
2004 or later:
a) Injury annuity under the Act (1973:213) amending
tort annuities increased by 1.51 percent.
b) that referred to in paragraph 3(a) shall act according to the road traffic injury
(1975:1410) also apply in relation to
trafikskade compensation.
