section 1 of this Regulation applies to the handling of firearms and

ammunition that has been submitted to a police authority under

Act (2007:11) on the discharge of certain weapons offenses.

section 2 of the police authorities shall check whether there are any known

the owner of the firearm and the ammunition that has been submitted.

In that case, the owner is notified of the submission. A

notice need not be given if it is clear that the owner

has consented to the filing.

The notification shall be served on the owner. In the notification shall

the owner is informed that the property belongs to the State if he

they do not claim in writing within one month

from the time he or she has been part of the notification.

Claims under the second subparagraph of paragraph 3 of law (2007:11) if

discharge at certain arms offences shall be made in writing in

a police authority.

1. the owner has claimed the property by virtue of paragraph 3 of the other

law (2007:11) on the discharge of certain arms offences,


2. the property is shared equally by the State under section 3(1)

filed in or military purposes, shall submit laboratory

paragraph 5 of the Swedish National Police Board may announce further provisions concerning
