The Board of appeal for higher education has the task of

hear appeals of certain decisions within the universities and

higher education area and within the Polytechnic.

The Board of appeal of the high school's mission is to hear appeals against certain decisions



1. in the area of universities and higher education institutions, 2. in studies, and



3. If the qualifications according to the Regulation (2015:545) on qualifications framework for lifelong learning.

Management



section 2 of the Authority is headed by a Board.

The Board shall consist of eight members.

Upon examination of appeals against decisions under article 1 (1) and (2) the Board shall consist of eight members.



Upon examination of appeals against decisions under section 3, the Board shall consist of ten members. Regulation (2015:547).



4 §/expires U: 2016-01-01/

The Chairman and Vice-Chairman shall be or have been

ordinary judges. Of the other three members shall be at least

lawyers. The Government appoints the Vice-President.



There should be not more than three deputies who can enter the Board

When another member than the President is unable to act. One of

for a certain time.

Quorum

The Board is a quorum when the President and at least three other

Members, of which at least one lawyer is present.

Upon examination of appeals against decisions under section 3, the Board shall have a quorum if the Chairman and at least three other members, at least one lawyer and at least one who has special expertise on training in the private sector or in folk formation, are present.

Exemptions from government regulation



section 7 the following provisions of the Government agencies Ordinance (2007:515)

shall not apply to the Board:



Article 7 on participation in the work of the EU and other international

cooperation,



section 15 for a quorum,



23 and 24 sections on employment,



section 27 for the right to represent the State in the courts, and



section 28 on measures in response to the National Audit

the auditor's report.



Transitional provisions



2009:138



This Regulation shall enter into force on april 15, 2009. Older

rules still apply to decisions under qualified

vocational training carried out under point 2 or 3 in

entry into force and transitional provisions to the Act

(2009:128) of the Polytechnic.
