section 1 of the Swedish Research Council for health, work and well-being has to

research on the industrial area as well as in social and

2 § within the framework of the task set out in article 1 shall

9. encourage Swedish participation in current research topics

within the EU's framework programmes for research, other research programs

within the EU, and international research programmes;



10. promote equality between women and men,



11. work to ensure that a gender perspective is reflected in

the research,



12. report on the extent to which account is taken of

gender-specific conditions within the subject areas,



13. promote the mobility of researchers,



14. promote and initiate scientific publishing and

to communicating knowledge and dialogue on the research

funded by the Council,



15. be advisory body to the Government on research matters,

and



16. coordinate research on



a) children and young people, including children's and young people's health,



b) older,



c) disabilities,



d) social research on alcohol and drug research, and



e) international migration and ethnic relations.

Management



section 4 of the Authority is headed by a Board of Directors.



§ 5/expires U: 2016-01-01-the Board of Directors shall consist of a Chairman and twelve other

members.



§ 5/entry into force: 01/01/2016/the Board of Directors shall consist of a Chairman, Government Chief and eleven other members. Regulation (2015:581).



6 §/expire U:2016-01-01 by Regulation (2015:581),/for each Member of the Board of directors except the Chairman shall be

a personal Deputy.



Organization



section 7 At the Swedish Research Council, there shall be a Secretary

with a high level of scientific competence.



Research Council for health, work and well-being, Work

for innovation systems, National Research Council, the Research Council for

environment, agricultural sciences and spatial planning and State

the energy authority, there shall be a Coordination Committee consisting

Government managers. The Group shall cooperate and jointly

prepare analyses, strategies and programmes and in

otherwise take initiatives to develop and renew the arrangements for

research activities.

According to the Regulation (2012:520) where the electoral Assembly at

Research Council and advice. The Chairman and five members

and five replacement to those appointed by the Government. The Board of Directors

for Research Council appoints vice President within itself.



In the event of a vacancy of a member or alternate as

appointed by electoral procedure, appoints the Government

the remaining part of the term of Office of a new Member or

replacement after proposals from the Research Council.



The Chairman and other Board members, as well as alternates are appointed for

three years. No representative or substitute may be appointed for more than

two terms in succession. Regulation (2012:977).

If there is a vacancy for a member who is appointed by the electoral procedure, appoints the Government for remaining part of the term of a new Member on the proposal of the Research Council.

§ 9 the main Secretary is appointed by the Board of Directors. The sum of the

employment period exceed six years only if there are

Resource allocation



section 11 of the Research Council's decision to grant funds may refer to a maximum

six years.



Research Council, when deciding on the grant of funds, indicate who

or who is the recipient of the funds and thus is responsible for

that the funds are used in accordance with the conditions imposed.



The Research Council may decide to grant no longer

shall be paid, on the activities of the funds does not meet

the requirements that should be addressed. An indication of this should be taken into

the Council's decision to grant funds.

shall not apply to the authority:

Appeal

funds may not be appealed.



Transitional provisions



2009:977



1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 10 november 2009.



2. According to the older regulations has been appointed as a Member

until 31 december 2009 will remain as a member of the

the Board until a new Board is appointed, but not

until 31 March 2010.



2009:1275



1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 21 december 2009.



2. with the support of the older regulations has been appointed

Member or Deputy member until 31 december 2009

remains as a member or substitute member of the Board of directors until

the new Board has been appointed, until 31

March 2010.



2012:977



This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2014, in the case of

section 8 and the 1 February 2013.
