Chapter 1. Introductory provisions
Article 1 this regulation lays down provisions on the application
of law (2007:1157) om professional driving skills.
section 2 of the terms and abbreviations used in the regulation has
the same meaning as in the Act (2007:1157) om professional driving skills.
Chapter 2. Basic skills
Education
section 1 initial training shall cover the topics and refer to the objectives
set out in the annex.
2 § a basic education, amounting to 280 hours must include:
at least 20 hours of driving practice.
3 § a basic education, amounting to 140 hours must include:
at least ten hours driving training.
Enlargement or modification of transport activity
4 section a driver who extends or modifies its transportation operations
According to Chapter 4. section 4 of the Act (2007:1157) on professional drivers ' skills and
which typically must complete a basic education under section 2 of the order
to get basic skills, must instead undergo a
complementary basic education of at least 70 hours. At least five
hours will be running training.

5 § With running training referred to individual driving as a pupil performs
under the supervision of a teacher in the car.

Chapter 3. Continuing education
§ 1 a course on training of drivers shall include at least 35

Chapter 4. Certificate of professional competence
Issuing
section 1 of the Swedish Transport Agency shall issue a certificate of professional competence of
basic skills for a driver
-meet the age requirements of Chapter 3. 3, 4, 4A, 5, 6 or 7 of
Act (2007:1157) om professional driver competence,
-have undergone basic training,
-have completed approved test, and
-hold the driving privileges of the vehicle

The right to get a CPC expires two years after the
the driver passed a qualifying exam. Regulation (2012:9).
section 2 of the Transportation Board shall issue a certificate of professional competence to
a driver who has undergone training and holding
the driving privileges of the vehicle which the training relates.

3 § If a CPC has been destroyed or lost
or if any task if the holder has changed,
the holder must notify the Transport Agency.
The notification shall, where possible, professional competence certificate must be attached.
Where a CPC that come off later is found, shall
it immediately handed over to the Swedish Transport Agency.

Exchange of professional competence

Chapter 5. Permit to conduct training, etc.
section 1 of the Transport Board may authorize a physical or
legal person conducting training activities according to
Chapter 8. section 2 of the Act (2007:1157) om professional driving skills.

1. a training plan indicating the substances, plan for implementing
education and teaching methods,
2. details of teachers ' qualifications and

3. information on workshops and teaching materials,
4. information on the resources available for the practical work
and the vehicles used, and
5. information on the conditions for participation in the training
including the number of training places.

Chapter 8. Appropriations, etc.
Regulations
section 1 of the Transport Board may provide for

3. continuing education,
4. conditions for conducting training activities,
5. professional competence, other evidence pursuant to Chapter 4. 8 § 3, and
Community code, and
6. supervision of training activities.
The Transport Board may, subject to paragraph 2, notify
regulations for enforcement of the Act (2007:1157) om
professional driving skills and this regulation.
Regulations referred to in the first subparagraph 2 shall be communicated to the following
consultation with the State school. Regulation (2008:1172).
section 2 of the State's school may provide for training for
professional driver competence in secondary school or municipal
adult education where pupils attend a national course that has been
subject to consultation with the Swedish Transport Agency.
Regulations shall be notified of
1. the content of the basic training for basic skills,

2. the training activities of the school.
State school inspection may provide for supervision of
training activities. Regulation (2012:9).

section 4 of the Transport Board may provide for fees for the

Transitional provisions
2007:1470
1. This Regulation shall enter into force on 15 January 2008.
2. This Regulation shall apply for the first time on september 10
2008 at the rider who performs carriage by vehicles
requires categories D and DE.
3. This Regulation shall apply for the first time on september 10
2009 drivers performing road freight transport with vehicles that require
categories C and CE.

3.2. Objective: to prevent crime and
trafficking in human beings.
General information, implications for drivers, preventive
measures, check list, legislation on transport companies
liability.
3.3. Objective: to prevent physical risks.
Ergonomics: risky movements and postures, physical
fitness, handling exercises, personal security.
3.4. Objective: be aware of the importance of physical and mental
