The General Council of the Riksbank provides under Chapter 5. 1 §

Act (1988:1385) om Sveriges riksbank to commemorative coins on two

thousand and two hundred dollars shall be released and that the coins should

have the following size, shape and appearance.



1 § on the occasion of the 150 anniversary of Selma Lagerlöf's birth

will commemorative with nominal values of two thousand and two

hundred dollars given out.

Gold, 50 silver and 50 copper thousandths and thousandths have a

weight of 12 grams and a diameter of 26 mm. Deviations from the

edge is the Governor's initials ("SI"), the year "2008",

"UNITED KINGDOM", the denomination "$ 200", and the first letter of the

myntningsorten ("E"). The designer's initials ("JH") under the

On the reverse is depicted a sunflower that symbolizes Selma

Lagerlöf's interest in nature. The top edge is the quote "This

Earth's basis is called righteousness ", taken from the short story" The

Bird frie "from the collection" Invisible links "from 1894.

The designer's initials ("JH") stands in the sunflower.



The edge must be smooth.



4 section commemorative coin with a face value of two hundred dollars

must be made of an alloy consisting of 925 parts per thousand

Silver and 75 parts per thousand copper and have a weight of 27.03 grams

and a diameter of 36 mm. Deviation from the nominal weight

get at a weighing a hundred coins be up to 27 grams.



§ 5 commemorative coin with a face value of two hundred dollars

shall have the following character.



On the front there is a picture of Selma Lagerlöf, whose model is

included in the collection "Trolls and humans" from 1915. The designer's

initials ("JH") under the image of geese.
