Scope of application



section 1 of this Act contains provisions which complement

European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 1781/2006 of the

on 15 november 2006 on information on the payer shall

accompanying transfers of funds.



Article 2 of Regulation (EC) No 1781/2006 shall not apply to

transfers of funds within Sweden to an account that allows for

payment for the supply of goods or services, if

the conditions pursuant to article 3, first subparagraph, (c)

Regulation are met.



Competent authorities



section 3 of the police authority should



1. to receive such messages from the payee's

payment service provider referred to in article 9(2) of Regulation (EC)

No 1781/2006, and



2. have the right to make such requests as referred to in article 14

the first subparagraph of the regulation should be answered by

payment providers and applying the information about

payer accompanying transfers and corresponding preserved

section 4 of the Swedish financial supervisory authority will be the authority in accordance with

Article 15(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1781/2006 monitors and

take the necessary measures to ensure that the requirements laid down in

Regulation are met.



Sanctions and interventions



section 5 provisions relating to sanctions and interventions shall

applicable to infringements of the Regulation (EC) No 1781/2006

see Chapter 15. Act (2004:297) on banking and

financing business and in 8-11 § § the Act (1996:1006) if

obligation to respect certain financial activities.
