§ 1 a municipality is obliged to participate in the State's skolverks

testing of samples that will be used in the following topics and

grades in elementary school:



1. Swedish, Swedish as a second language and mathematics at the end of

grade 3, and



2. Biology, physics and chemistry at the end of grade 9.



section 2 of the independent schools corresponding to elementary school is obliged to

participate in such testing of samples referred to in paragraph 1.



§ 3 Subject test in grade 9 as referred to in this regulation need

not be taken into account when grading.



section 4 of the State's school may provide details relating to the

testing of samples referred to in this regulation. Such

regulations should be designed so that every student in grade 9 attend

in the subject test in only one of the subjects of biology, physics or chemistry

and that the number of candidates as far as possible, equal

great for every topic.
