Scope of application



paragraph 1 of this regulation provides for such material covered by the Act (1993:1392) If copies of documents.



Preservation of Scripture and combined materials



section 2 of the documents referred to in the 5-8, 10 and 16 of the Act (1993:1392) If copies of documents form nationalexemplar if they have been submitted to Kungl. the library and national reserve copies if they have been submitted to the Lund University Library. The documents shall be preserved for the future.



The obligation to preserve does not apply such duty specimens that turns out to be a duplicate of a previously submitted document or an unchanged new edition of a previously submitted documents.



In the case of the two copies of the printed newspapers provided to Kungl. the library comes the obligation to preserve only one specimen.



section 3, Stockholm, Uppsala, Linköping, Göteborg and Umeå University may provide for the retention of documents that have been submitted to the respective University Library.



Preservation of film, videograms, phonograms, some documents for electronic reproduction and sound radio and television programmes



section 4 of the documents referred to in 12, 14 and 18 of the Act (1993:1392) If copies of documents which have been submitted to Kungl. the library should be preserved for the future.



The obligation to preserve does not apply such duty specimens that turns out to be a duplicate of a previously submitted document or an unchanged new edition of a previously submitted documents.



Recordings of sound radio or television programmes made with support of 26 e § lagen (1960:729) on copyright in literary and artistic works may be kept in the library only if they have documentary value or right-holders have admitted that the recordings are preserved.



Provision of writing and combined materials



paragraph 5 of the documents referred to in the 5-8, 10 and 16 of the Act (1993:1392) If copies of documents and held by the Royal. the library is kept available in the premises of the library.

Kungl. the library may decide about the extent to which the documents are to be kept available.



Stockholm, Uppsala, Linköping, Göteborg and Umeå University may provide for keeping the documents held by the respective University Library available. Lund University may, after consulting the Kungl. the library, provide for keeping the documents kept at Lund University Library available.



In the case of combined materials held by libraries apply except in respect of writing the provisions of sections 6 and 7.

section 6 of the documents referred to in 12, 14 and 18 of the Act (1993:1392) If copies of documents and held by the Royal. the library is kept available in the premises of the library and is provided with the help of the library's equipment. Kungl.

the library may decide about the extent to which the documents are to be kept available.



The documents referred to in the first subparagraph and that held by the library may, after examination of each case, be made available in the same manner provided for in the first subparagraph in an institution outside the library. After use, the document is returned to the library.



Your library or institution may not lend copies of such documents as referred to in the first subparagraph and that held by the library or has been disclosed to an institution.

paragraph 7 of the rules on the reproduction, among others. within the Royal.

the library can be found in section 16 of the Act (1960:729) on copyright in literary and artistic works.



When a copy of a legal deposit of documents referred to in paragraph 6 of the first paragraph be lent outside the library to the library to inform the receiver about the meaning of the applicable copyright laws.



After use, the copy shall be returned to the library.

Such specimens may then be preserved in the library.



Other rules



section 8. the library shall act for the weeks that copies of some sound radio and television programmes shall be submitted in accordance with the third paragraph of section 18 of the Act (1993:1392) If copies of documents.



§ 9. the library, under penalty, submit to if the obligation to provide copies.



10 § Kungl. the library may in individual cases, decide on exemptions from the obligation to provide copies.



11 § Kungl. the library may announce further provisions relating to the conservation and provision of copies submitted to the library.
