section 1 the Pension Agency is the managing authority for the
old-age pension system within the social security system and for other
benefits and compensation as required by law or regulation,
administered by the authority.
2 § the museums shall
1. provide information to the public on pensions and other benefits
referred to in paragraph 1 and to ensure that this is provided on the basis of the
individual's needs;
2. inform and provide pension savers and retirees a comprehensive
picture of the full pension as well as provide information on what factors
affects the amount, how large the pension can be assumed to be
and clarify the consequences of different choices can have on
pension,
3. track, analyze, and convey the old-age pension system
development and effects on individuals and society,
4. ensure that irregular payments are not made, and
prevent the grant offense,
5. work to ensure legality and consistency at
the law for determining pensionable
income,
6. participate in the work of the EU and other international cooperation
and, if need be, will represent Sweden in its
area of activity,
7. integrate a gender perspective in its activities;
and
8. perform the duties that a competent authority has
According to
– article in the Convention of 30 January 2002 on the
social security between Sweden and Canada for the purposes of
Articles XX. 1 (information) and the XXV. 1 (interpretation and
application) in the Convention when the question concerns
pension benefits or surviving,
— Article 1 of the Convention on 13 March 1995 on social
security between the Kingdom of Sweden and the Republic of Chile by
the application of article 19 c to e (information) of the Convention
When the question concerns pension benefits, survivor's pension and
survivors ' benefits from the work injury insurance,
and
— Article 1 of the Convention of 30 June 1978 between the
Sweden and Turkey on social security for the purposes of
articles 31 and 32 (information) when the question concerns
retirement benefits, survivor's pension and benefits to
survivors from the work injury insurance.

3 § the museums shall ensure that its costs for various insurance areas funded through the appropriate funding source.
The authority shall, in the case of old-age pension system, by 15 May of each year, submit a consolidated statement and a request for compensation
– for the administration of income pension and supplementary pension, which shall be covered by the withdrawal from the First to fourth AP funds, and
– for the administration of premium pension to be covered by charges to be deducted from the pension savers ' pension accounts.
The statement referred to in the second subparagraph shall also include the costs to the tax agency, the Swedish enforcement authority and the National Institute for Administration of old-age pension system.
3 a of the authority to the Government no later than six weeks after

Sideline activities
10 § whoever is a member of the Board or an employee of
the authority may not be a member without permission, or

Fund activity under the Act (2004:46) about mutual funds
or managing alternative investment funds according to law
(2013:561) on alternative investment fund managers
or in the Seventh AP Fund. The Member or the employee may
not be employed by or undertake quests for a
such managers.
Conditions referred to in the first subparagraph shall be communicated by the Government of
the case of a member of the Board and of the authority in respect of
other employees of the authority other than the Director General.

Employment
section 11 of the Director-General is the head of Government.
Staff disciplinary board
section 12 at the Agency, there shall be a staff disciplinary board.
Applicability of certain regulations
13 § the museums shall apply the staff representatives Ordinance
(1987:1101) and internal audit regulation (2006:1228).
Fees
14 § the museums shall charge fees for the activities
set out in paragraph 4, adopt the fees and outlining
fee revenues. Regulation (2011:1192).
section 15 the Agency may collect charges for activities under section 5.
Exemptions from government regulation
section 16 of the following provisions of the Government agencies Ordinance (2007:515)
shall not apply to the authority:

Exceptions to the fee regulation
section 17 the provisions of 25 a of the fee Regulation (1992:191) if
over-and deficit shall not apply to the Authority's
Premium pension business. Regulation (2011:1192).
Exceptions to specific balance sheet relating to the
funded activities
section 18 of the authority shall be exempt from the requirement in paragraph 5 of the law
(1998:710) with certain provisions for Pension Agency
funded activities will establish a special
balance sheet for pension operations with in addition
related supplemental information. Regulation (2012:377).
