Introductory provision
section 1 of this regulation provides for the
social orientation that each municipality shall ensure that
new immigrants are provided in accordance with paragraph 5 of the law (2010:197) if
provisioning efforts for some newly arrived immigrants and the law
(2013:156) of social studies for some new arrivals
immigrants. Regulation (2013:158).
Purpose and content
section 2 of the Social orientation designed to facilitate the
newcomers ' establishment in working and social life.
Social orientation will provide a basic understanding
for the Swedish society and a basis for further
knowledge acquisition. The goal should be that the participants
develop knowledge of
1. human rights and fundamental
democratic values,
2. the individual's rights and obligations in General,
3. how society is organized, and
4. practical everyday life.
section 3 Community layout should contain the following elements.
1. To get to Sweden.
2. To live in Sweden.
3. To support themselves and developed in Sweden.
4. The individual's rights and responsibilities.
5. To start a family and live with children in Sweden.
6. To influence in Sweden.
7. To nurture their health in Sweden.
8. Growing old in Sweden.
The emphasis will be on the practical aspect of
live in Sweden. The exact content, scope and
the emphasis of each component should be tailored to the participants and
the local conditions.
The design and implementation
section 4 of The social studies which are to be provided in accordance with paragraph 6 of
Act (2010:197) about start-up efforts for some new arrivals
immigrants should be started as soon as possible after a
establishment plan has been drawn up. It should normally be completed
one year after the establishment plan has been drawn up.
By law (2013:156) of social studies for certain
newly arrived immigrants shows when social orientation under
the law should be initiated. It should normally be completed in a year
after it started. Regulation (2013:158).
§ 5 Each new arrival should be offered a community orientation
at least 60 hours. It can be combined with
work, studies and other activities to facilitate
and speed up the establishment of work.
section 6 the municipality determines how societal orientation should
designed and in what sequence the national orienteering
parts to be treated.
Social orientation will provide the space for dialogue and
Reflection.
section 7 Social orientation shall, as far as possible, be carried out in
mother tongue or another language which the student has mastered
well. If necessary, the interpreter be hired.
The persons who provide social orientation should have appropriate
pedagogical training or experience and subject knowledge.
section 8 of the municipality shall have a plan of social orientation. In
the plan, the national orienteering, content and scope
specified.
The plan shall be revised as necessary. Consideration should then be
to new conditions and how the implementation worked.
§ 9 the municipality may Commission others to design the plan and
organise social orientation. The plan must then be approved by the
the municipality.
Certificates and information
section 10 of the municipality shall give each participant a certificate after
completion of the social studies. If another municipality requests
the municipality shall submit information concerning the partial walkthrough
social studies.

Support, monitoring and accounting
section 11 of the provincial governments should promote and support collaboration
between the municipalities of social orientation.
